After tangling with Safelite (their technician never called or showed up -- when I asked the customer service person about his whereabouts, he replied "your guess is as good as mine"), I hesitatingly called Gerber without knowing what they were like. I had a great experience with them, in particular with Joe the gentleman who did the work on my car. He was gracious and worked efficiently and was able to repair the windshield (hit by a stone on the highway) without replacing the whole windshield. He explained the work and made sure I was satisfied. Also of note, the 3 different customer service folks I talked with on the phone were very helpful. They also handled my insurance claim for me resulting in a $0 bill handed to me. This was my first windshield mishap and Im glad I entrusted my car to Joe and to Gerber.
