I never had a good experience with this post office - always encountered rude employees. This time was no different. I just called this post office because the tracking information on my package was last updated 4 days prior with the word Forwarded from this location and no other information. I asked politely if someone can assist me with locating my package and was put on hold for 15 minutes. I called back and spoke to the same woman and said, "I just want to know where my package is." I gave her the tracking number. She then proceeded to explain to me that it may take 10 days for me to receive my package - and she said that to me like I should already know that information. When I thanked her for the information I heard "CLICK". No "Youre welcome" or "Sorry for the long hold" or "Have a nice day". Just completely and utterly RUDE! Sorry for the people in Park Ridge who have to deal with this post office.

We recently moved to the area due to a job promotion. In order to have a direction for our mail, we picked up a post office box. We were told at the time of purchase that we could call the office to check to see if there is a particular mail item that has arrived. (License plate). Until we get this plate, we are not able to drive. The lady that answers the phone, Lorrene is always put-off by our request. I understand that everyone is busy and has to work, but answering the phone, a quick customer service call is also part of the job. Her customer service is so terrible, I apologized for inconveniencing her day. Really, she is the main person that we have had to work with, at one point she stated: "Im too busy to look." I would not recommend this location if you want customer service.

Had 2 ebay deliveries stolen while IN the building. I have a P.O.Box. I receive deliveries to this box. Shipments were marked as "Delivered" [USPS has "Delivery Confirmation". Went to the counter to pick up & "Nothing here". Filed claim, 3 different "Postmasters" in claim time frame. 1st 2 apparently did nothing. 3rd tried to be helpful but "This has exceeded the timeframe for a claim". I think that valuable looking items are thrown in the trash, delivered to the dumpster and the offending party simply takes it out of the dumpster in the dark of night. [I watched this scam unfold at Thompsons Finer Foods by their cleaning crew 20+ years ago]. No cameras out at the trash = easy way for postal employee to take what they want.

This place is probably one of the worst places ive ever been to in my whole life. The staff barely knows what theyre doing and when i called they would let it ring for a minute and then pick up and hang up immediately to dodge the call. So i am forced to drive to the freaking place just to deal with a bunch of incompetent freaks that cant locate a package that was delivered to the building they are in. This is why usps is going bankrupt its not like mail service is some impossible feat a dozen other companies are doing it terrifically

Someone, either the mail carrier or someone at the facility is clearly stealing packages. I have had numerous packages marked by them as delivered into or at mailbox. Funny because I sit and watch the mailman everyday due to the constant inconvenience. Nothing delivered however later in the day the tracking gets updated as it was placed in the box. Hope this will help spark a review of this locations employees and the employees involved with the transit to and from this location. IT IS CLEAR AS DAY THEY ARE STEALING THEM.

The issue isnt so much the "in person" customer service its the service you get from "Supervisors or those misrepresenting themselves as The Postmaster (Calmidy) when in fact Bil Minsky is the Post Master. Calmidy covers for Angelas inferior interaction with customers. They seem to forget who PAYS their salary. Filing a formal complaint against both the employees. They dont deliver the packages (Amazon) as directed and then blame it always on someone else.

Ignore what anyone else said, Ive mailed many packages to this post office and its strictly business when there. Give them the package, tell them what class, pay, and leave. Efficient, fast, and effective. Those who say they are rude probably have a personal vendetta against them but overall they are good workers. Those who had problems mailing things probably dont know how to mail or how to use the post office properly.

I live in Park Ridge and have used services dozens of times. Never had a problem with service. There is usually a line, but it moves quickly. Nothing stands out about service, but not sure that taking care of postal needs gives much opportunity for anything extravagant. My guess is that those complaining about service wanted something, like faster delivery at lower cost, that workers cannot provide.

Im writing this while Im still waiting for three USPS people to make the printer work. Its been an hour already. I paid them for the service they were supposed to provide me and about 45 into my wait they came up with the question: "Did you pay the amount due?" The service was pathetic

Dishonest office. They will lie about undelivered mail. You will spend several minutes on hold, on the phone, trying to get an answer to a simple question, and still wont get an answer. Awful customer service.

How is it that I can drop a piece of mail into the mail box outside of the post office for a p.o. box inside of the post office and it still gets lost? How? This has happened to me twice now.
