I have had noting but bad experiences with this location. They have lost my packages on multiple occasions, and (sadly) never take ownership for it. Any time I order anything to be delivered to my moms it goes through this post office and either gets lost completely (twice, now) or there is a delay. Have also had where it states delivered to my house, isnt there, I call to file a complaint, and the package is magically there 2 days later. I was told with this last mess up I am completely wrong because if a package is delivered to Franklin it would NEVER be at the Oak Creek post office. Weird, because looking back at all tracking #s from past orders (I screen print them all), EVERY SINGLE ONE of my orders has gone through Oak Creek...but I guess those tracking #s can be totally wrong. This last package was transferred from UPS in Illinois to USPS in Oak Creek. They have no record of ever receiving the package, although when I contact UPS they spoke with the delivery driver who can recall it being scanned off of his truck. Their customer service skills are terrible-very rude, non-empathetic, and short with customers-the ones who have the right to be upset when a package that they spent their $$ on is lost. Mind you, I order online weekly and it is ONLY when my packages go through Oak Creek rather than Menomonee Falls that this happens. Needless to say anything ordered will have to be sent to me rather than my parents in Franklin. Guess I am confused how a location has this many bad reviews and similar situations over a variety of customers, yet they blame the senders of these shipments saying they must not have shipped it right or tracking numbers are wrong and that is why packages are lost. Something seems wrong here...

I recently shipped an item from Wisconsin to Illinois. This is a delivery that usually takes only 2 to 3 days. The item i shipped arrived at the OAK CREEK, WISC PROCESSING FACILITY on February 26 and did not clear out from the facility until March 7. My package sat at this USPS Facility for 9 DAYS. My Chicago IL customer is not happy that his delivery has yet to arrive, and therefore, I am unhappy. I hope the issue gets resolved as to why there are delays like this. Im happy that the package finally got processed and didnt get stolen or something. However, heres my nickelsworth of free advice to USPS: I suppose a delivery update in USPS tracking would be nice. Just a simple "Item delayed due to so and so...". Just a little info would be nice when theres a delay, instead of being left in the dark, thinking my package has been stolen or lost...Im not the only one thats a little crabby about it.

I had been trying to get a Saturday appointment for a passport renewal on and off for a few months, so eventually I decided to take a Monday off. I called and scheduled the appointment the previous Friday, and I was on the phone with the gentleman for less than five minutes, during which time he thoroughly explained everything I needed to bring with me. The actual appointment? I think its more of a formality. I came in, there was one person in line ahead of me, and I stepped aside to wait for the gentleman who handles passport applications. He looked over my completed paperwork, I wrote him a check, took me into the office for a photo (which turned out great, Im going to have this photo for ten years, so Im glad he took a good one), and I met him back up front for my ID and receipt. In and out in ten minutes, one of the most efficient government transactions I have ever experienced!

Fed Ex gets me my package that is ordered same day 2 days from Maryland to Wisconsin. United States Postal Service gets other 1/2 of order same day dame time- Package is 90 miles away from my house and they say it will take 5 days to get to me. 5 days come and go and they miss the date. So will be 2 days later delivered on Monday instead of Saturday. I needed the package and now will be gone for 1 week and I will miss the package. Whats my recourse?- I have none they are the USPS and are guaranteed work even if they miss commitment dates and do a terrible job of getting you something way later than the competition. I would give you less than one star but cant. I end up 40 minutes on hold as well when I call to see what is going on. USPS is the worst.

I read the reviews showing this USPS Sort Facility and now I know why my package has been sitting there for 3 days. Getting from China was a breeze starting on Dec 17 then came to a halt in Oak Creek WI on the 20th and here it is end of the day on the 26th and still sitting there. We need to close this USPS site down and move it to where things happen and people move for a living so the rest of us keep going. What do these people think they got a government job or something? Oh wait it is a government job thats the problem I see now whats happening here. A lot of good this post will do, never mind take your time people dinner break coming soon no need to get started moving my little old package you may have to scan something. Trashy employees who are rude beyond compare. Closed my PO BOX here because I received some companys mail and no one wanted to do anything about it. I also had a package delivered on a Sunday (I realize that is not typical) but the guy showed up at my doorstep refusing to identify himself (provide ID) and was not in uniform and threw my package on the ground and rudely walked away when I was afraid to open the door and asked him to kindly leave it on my door step (He was rather suspicious). The attitude problem with these people is very apparent. There is a large guy who looks native American and hes one of the rudest employees there and is not friendly to anyone. AVOID this place at all costs! I now have my mail delivered to another city!

This is the most awful USPS i have ever encountered for several reasons. I ordered a Priority Mail Overnight on 4/14/16 which was last week Thursday. It is now Wednesday and the package still hasnt showed up. Every time I look at TrackMyPackage it says "Your item arrived at our OAK CREEK, WI 53154 destination facility on April 15, 2016 at 5:43 am. The item is currently in transit to the destination." I have called three times now and the employees have been nothing but rude. AWFUL CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. USPS please fix all of the problems you have been having with this location.

I have had this message when tracking a package coming to me for 4 days from this post office. "The Postal Service has identified a problem with the processing of this item at 6:41 pm on February 8, 2016 in OAK CREEK, WI 53154. The local facility has been alerted and is taking steps to correct the problem." What the heck is the story with this post office. Just because they work for the government doesnt mean they need to work like the government. I am wondering if anyone has called this post office and if so, received any results? Simply unacceptable!
