2 months ago I had a brand new a/c compressor installed. Before going in to this I had several other quotes. After talking to the manager, maybe owner he talked me out if going to another place that was actually 150 dollars cheaper saying they didnt include the price of something else that was needed and they didnt do good work. Well a month later my a/c went out. Took my car back to him and they claimed I now had an electrical issue and in order to find he wanted to charge me more money. I just left the dealership getting it checked out and it turns out they bent a pin in my connecter and he will not reimburse me any money and its their fault as I stated to him because my car had no other issues. Stay away from this place and customer came in there arguing about work on their vehicle he did during my visit I wish I would ve got up and walked away then.

Total B.S.!! Had an appointment at 1:00. When I arrived, he said hed be with me in 10 mins. I waited 45. As I sat there I heard all of the others complaining about the wait time and every time they came out they told the person they needed far more work then what they were there for. When I got angry he pulled my car in. I needed a muffler. I was quoted 89.00 installed. The only hole I had was in the muffler. After waiting an hour he comes to tell me I need an entire exhaust system at $300.00!! I told him to forget it and drove to another muffler shop. They told me that I ONLY needed a muffler and installed a lifetime muffler for $60.00. Stay away from this place. HORRIBLE service and VERY DISHONEST. Total SCAMMERS!

I wanted to save money on a routine oil change and saw that this location offers the service for $19.95, what I thought was a great price. Not only did the technician screw up the routine job requiring me to go back after I had oil leaking from my car, but they tried to scam me into an additional $450 in work. The work they told me was a "requirement" was a complete sham. I went to another mechanic whom I trusted and he said only one side needs to be done, the other side was completely fine. Additionally, Meineke was also overcharging by over $200. I wish finding an honest mechanic wasnt this difficult, but let me save you some time, SKIP MEINEKE IN SCHAUMBURG!

This Meineke location has been my go to car service company for over a decade. After using several good auto maintenance companys in this area I felt most comfortable with this Schaumburg Meineke. Phil and Tariq have always been professional and honest with my service needs and costs. And on multiple occasions through the years have charged me little or nothing when an issue turned out to be a very minor adjustment. I am a loyal customer because after Ive researched potential issues and fixes for my vehicles, these guys have consistently assessed and priced the needed service appropriately. I strongly recommend this Meineke car center!!

Very Honest and Saved me $$$. My brakes failed on my while driving (scary!) I took it to a shop I regularly go to and they said the whole system needed to be replaced costing well over $2000. I decided to get a second opinion and had it towed to this meineke. Their tech immediately found the problem within minutes. Turned out one of my lines had ruptured and cost me A LOT less than two grand and I was out and driving again within just a couple hours. I appreciated the honesty and the respect they gave me, not to mention saving me over $1700. Thanks for the great work!

To set expectations, the facility seems like a hole in the wall. I believe they only have two car bays and are in a strip center with other car-related facilities. I went to get my muffler replaced. The price they quoted (around $450 with parts and labor) was very price competitive for my car (I had checked four other repair shops). However, unfortunately for me, in turns out that they were unable to get the proper mid-pipe (it can only be ordered from the OEM for my car). They were upfront, took my car in at the appointment time, and were honest about it.

What a Ripoff! I went to Meineke for standard break work because I was hoping for fast service and a decent job. However, what I got in return was 3 return visits due to poor workmanship and cheap parts causing my brakes to grind constantly. In the end, I wasted countless hours of my time and over $1,700. When I demanded something be done from the manager, he told me it wasnt his problem. Do yourself a favor and do not go to this Meineke.

Awesome work, honest and very reasonable prices..... It so obvious u have to wait in any work shop and yes when u ask them to inspect your car they will do it A to Z and if u cheepo u will get a heart attack after knowing that how garbage your car is.... As a loyal customer I trust them since 2001 ..... Do recommend to people I know.... Keep up the good work Schaumburg meineke

Awful service. I brought in my car just to get it inspected and quickly fixed. Needed to get my uncarriage cover screwed back up since it was being dragged as I was driving. Instead of getting a simple answer, he altered his answer and gave me the impression that he didnt want my services. Complete waste of my time and gas.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience here yet again. Came here a couple years back for an emissions test and was impressed. Just brought my daily driver Jeep Cherokee there for a muffler fix. They were unbelievably quick and the price was cheaper than the other two local shops I checked out. Outstanding.

Ive been here twice and each time was easy and quick. They have great prices, someone is always there to answer the phone, and they were able to see me within a day. Would definitely recommend this place!

Tariq customer service skills are horrible. I miss Phil. The place was dirty, the water from the cooler was lukewarm and he didnt honor my coupon.

I dont trust their quotes. Went there for brake shoe pad change and they quoted me a $1000. Got the same stuff done at another for $627.
