I recently came in for computer service in Schaumburg while passing through for a show in Rosemont. The level of computer repair expertise here is top notch and well organized in my opinion. When I came in, I met with George who was able to accurately identify the issue I was having over the counter. He explained he will need a day or less to confirm it but his estimate was accurate as well. In fact, my laptop had an issue with the video card on the motherboard which they were able to repair. They explained to me that they also use high quality components and thermal compounds to ensure that the problem does not return any time soon. Its bee 6 months now and Ive been using my computer every day. They also installed a program to help me monitor my motherboard temperatures. I had stopped by Geek Squad before this and they told me they could attempt to fix it but it would be at least 2 weeks and the parts cost would be around $300-$400 at least. I paid less than half of that at the Kamien computer repair store in Schaumburg and also had my system optimized as a bonus with the service. Not to mention I had a trained eye examining my computer from start to finish. It makes all the difference in the world. They should raise their prices because I believe people in the area would pay for the quality of service they invested in my computer. Thank you and I hope my computer doesnt break next time in Schaumburg, but if it does, Ill know where to go!

This is the place to go if you want to put your iphone to death bed. I repaired my iphone 6s for water damage with these guys in october, they charged $214 and fixed it on the same day. Then problems started. 1. Phone did not charge after I come home. 2. Took back. Kept it for about week and half, was told home button replaced. I was not told any consequences. 3. Now touch ID does not work and 3D touch does not work. 4. Worked fine for 3 weeks then, home button stopped working. 5. Returned for repair again (to repair home button) when my daughter came home for thanksgiving holidays. 6. Was told this cannot be fixed. But they can fix 3d touch. I should have said no, knowing their track record in continual repairs. I made a mistake. I said yes. Was called after 3 days and told, I need to pick up the phone it cannot be repaired. Now my phone is not working condition. They dont want to take any responsibility of compensating my phone. My repeated requests for talking to owner was not honored. I told technicians that I need to talk to the owner, they never put me through. These guys essentially damaged my phone during repair, dont want to refund my money and compensate for the phone. Totally I am completely lost on my phone and another $200. I waited a week and submitting this review and complaint to IL attorney general. So if you want your phone to put to death, this is the place to be. go ahead....

This is easily the best computer repair in Schaumburg. I use Kamien Computers for all of my technology service needs in Melrose Park. We started using them about 2 years ago for maintaining a few computers which went down after a storm. They were quick and very knowledgeable about the type of repairs we needed. They propsed that we install a basic server to manage the files within our company and a website to attract more attention to our line of work. Both of these changes have made our work very simple and allowed my employees to spend their time doing work rather than trying to share files among other things. The website was also very useful in improving how many call come to our business from new clients. I love Kamien Computers and Im sure that outsourcing our computer repair services and general technology maintanence was the best decision Ive made in terms of office maintenance. In short, Ive always been impressed with the work that the computer technicians have done. Thank you Kamien Computers and we look forward to a mutually beneficial partnership with you.

I dont know how its like today, but a few years I had my computer there for repair. First off they claim they had fixed my computer, but the next day it went inoperable, and I had to keep this computer for a whole year on deployment. Because it was with me to begin with during my deployment. After coming back I was promised it was going to be taken care of which they took it in for a second attempt to fix my computer. I was on my way for my 2nd deployment after coming back from my deployment (7months later). Found out that they just got rid of my computer without my acknowledgement. I was very frustrated, because I had a lot of files and designs for my website in that single computers internal hard drive. I was ready to get back to work, but it was all gone. My dad literally works two stores away from them, but as you can they didnt even attempt to inform them or contact via email that they were going to just throw away my computer. Again this is three years ago, they may have a new staff, but my experience with them was a frustrating one.

To begin with, I would like to say that I have had a very good experience with Zombie tech. As any smart shopper, I called around to about 8 different places to get a good quote on what it would cost to repair my 17.3" laptop screen that broke that I accidentally dropped. A lot of places have me a ball park estimate of about $149-$199. Calling HPs out of warranty repair was quote at $300+ dollars! Yikes. What ultimately led me to Zombietech was their price was very reasonable. And their turn around time was the end of the week(I came in on Monday). Not to mention their location was close to my work, and right off Rt 62 (very accessible). I gave them a follow up call on Friday, and they were very accurate with their the situation. As soon as they get the part in, their techs are ambitious and professional in getting the item replaced. I picked up my computer on Saturday, without any issues at all, and the Computer looked good as new! I would very highly recommend for fast, quality work, with very good competitive pricing.

Poor service and technical skills and communication. The promised fix time was repeatedly not kept. The phone originally fixed had microphone not working. I found the microphone not working 4 days after I picked it up (Because I use Bluetooth headphones and car bluetooth calling option in my car). I took the phone back. They said to replace the microphone they needed to order parts. That parts took over 8 days to arrive. Once the parts arrived, they gave me time to repair that kept on changing. After several calls and visiting the store, I picked up the phone a day later. It cost me total of 336 Dollars to fix the cracked screen. I could have bought a used phone for that price. The guys say that they are the cheapest phone fixers around. Which I know is not true checking with other places later. Very poor service, not keeping promised time to repair repeatedly and not owning up to their mistake. Make sure if you go their you test your phone completely before leaving the store. Not very happy with the service.
