Upon checking my slacks in with the assistant manager, I asked for the slacks to be returned cleaned and hanging from the waist (I don’t like my slack folded over the hang – this position leaves a crease in the slacks). The assistant repeated my request to me several times as he motioned to give my garments a special tag. I paid for my service and left the store. I returned to pick up my slacks a day or two later. The same assistant manager who checked me in was going to check me out. He recognized me immediately and said you are the lady who wanted her pants hung from the waist – I politely smiled and said yes. Low and behold when he handed me my slacks they were folded over the hanger!? I immediately informed him that=2 0I specifically asked for this not to be done. He acknowledged that he knew that but doesn’t know how that happened. I was livid. I asked for a refund. The assistant manager said he could not give me a refund but he could repress my pants? WTF? That would mean I would have to come back to the cleaners the NEXT day because the press person was gone for the evening. Still livid I asked for the store manager’s name. I spoke with the store manager the next day to explain the situation and I expressed my disappointment in CD One. I asked for a refund, he offered half and the other half on a gift card. I ask him if I am unhappy with the service why would I want a gift card?! He then asked if I could bring the slacks in so he could show the “press person and manager” how the slacks should have been tagged. I explained to him that this would be an inconvenience and he didn’t need to use my slacks as a prop to train his staff. He said the assistant manager was new however I don’t see what’s so hard about hanging slacks from the waist as oppose to folding them over a hanger – it’s not rocket science??? Needless to say – I didn’t return to the store. I decided it wasn’t worth my time and I would be better off informing others of the sit uation. When I removed the slacks from the plastic they had a “noticeable chemical” smell – this must not be safe? I have vowed not to return to CD One cleaners. I will continue to take my dry cleaning to Lansing Cleaners who cost more but understand what hang slacks from the waist mean and when they return the cleaned garments they don’t smell like chemicals! People remember – you sacrifice something for a cheaper price – I sacrificed customer service, time, pressing the fold out of my slacks and inhaling unknown chemicals!

I GIVE THIS LOCATION NEGATIVE 10 STARS. This location does not have a idea on how to professionally care for clothes. Not enough experience when its time for chemical treatment. I have noticed discoloration and fine holes in 2 of my shirts. My clothes are very important. My clothes are Made-to Measure, meaning time and money was invested for the clothing I own. I dont want a $400 shirt destroyed because I had it " cleaned " for the low price of $1.25. To me, its just doesnt make sense or cents. Im highly disturbed.

The clothes arent cleaned very well. They tried removing a stain and it didnt 100% go away. (Though, I must say the stain is less visible now). The place looks new and seems nice on the exterior, but the service isnt good. Any other professional dry cleaners wouldve been able to take care of this. If youre super cheap/have no money, then go ahead and try this place. But, Im not about to have my clothes washed here to save like what, 10 cents a piece?

The staff is extremely nice and helpful, but the services they perform are not that great. Ive had to take several items back to be redone. Starch lines on my pants are unacceptable! It is also crazy that they do not acept credit cards. They fact that there is free starbucks coffee is convenient.

Good place to go if its imperative that you need your clothes back same day. Very basic cleaning, many times in the past Ive had to have clothes reprocessed to get them clean.
