This business does substandard work. Fisheyes in freshly painted panels are deemed acceptable by the owner. Owner admitted fisheyes occur when there are surface contaminants in the surface prior to painting. Two independant body shops cited improper surface preperation prior to painted and deemed this work substandard and unaccaptable, as do I. When the owner of the company was confronted w/ 5 fisheyes in the newly painted fender the owner said insurance companies deem this acceptable so he will as well (I did not go through insurance, I paid cash). Further stating the fender will never look like it did when new despite my request when I went in to get the repair that i wanted to look at the fender and not know it had been repainted. I informed the owner that I wanted the panel to look like it wasnt repainted despite the cost. (car is 2 years old and company was hired to repaint a fender that had a minor scratch). I was not expecting a show car finish but fisheyes are unacceptable. I will provide pictures of defects, you be the judge if youd like your car to look like this..

Car Repair: Front bumper of 09 911 Turbo Everything from my estimate to final pickup was completed in very professional manner. The final product was very well done and I was extremely happy with the turnout. I met Bob, the owner, as well a couple of employees and they were well-spoken, approachable folks. I was quoted a 3 day turnaround and this timing estimate was met. They also allowed me to drop my car off before the shop opened as well as give me a lift back home; excellent service! When picking up my car it was washed and the interior detailed; this was very much appreciated. I will definitely take my business back here. Thanks so much.

Yay! I had the best experience. Honest and friendly owner. His wife is just as nice. I have an old beat up car and got rear ended. Im not so worried about how it looks but my trunk woudnt close. I was afraid this would be a hassle and it would be costly for a car that I dont want to put too much more $$ into. He took care of me quickly and with a reasonable price. He accomodated to what I needed and thats what I appreciate most. He also rebuilds and sells cars. I will be calling him when I get some money saved up. I will most defiantly go back to Bodywerks if ever in an accident again.

Excellent shop. If your looking for a shop that will go above and beyond, perfect work, and fast, this is it. Owner was super nice and helpful. I needed my trunk and back bumper replaced, now it looks good as new. They even finished before the scheduled time of repair. They also washed and waxed my car, cleaned my rims and tires aswell. Even got rid of some corrosion and rust that was building up. Thats what i mean by above and beyond. If you choose body werks of streamwood, youll be in good hands and wont be disappointed.

I just had the front end of my 2006 Jeep grand Cherokee repaired at bodywerks this past week and I honestly couldnt have been happier with the repair. The owner is a great guy and was really professional about everything. My car legitimately looked like nothing had ever happened to it after they were done with it. The paint job was flawless and they delivered my car on the date they promised. Extremely pleased with their work and Im definitely recommending them to my friends. Thanks again guys! :)

I was given a less expensive quote from another shop but chose Body Werks for their honest appraisal and quality work. I am very happy with how beautiful the side of my car looks after they re-panted it. I now understand why their lot is always full. Thank you Body Werks for your excellent service; it was very good working with you! (I hope not to need you again--no more side swipes--but will refer you ANY time.)

The experience I have had with this shop is top-notch. The staff treats you with respect and courtesy. The work is fantastic, finished on time, and they guarantee their work. I have used Bodywerks whenever I need to repair my cars, and will continue to do so. I would recommend this shop to anyone that is particular about their vehicles. Well my daughter got into her first car accident a few weeks ago. We are glad she’s okay but her car looked horrible. After talking with the insurance company we brought our car (2007 Honda Civic) to bodywerks . The car looks brand new and the insurance company covered the rest. If anyone else gets into a collision (praying that we wont) I would use bodywerks again.

Body Werks does terrific work, Joe told me my car would be done on Friday and it was done on Friday, right before my rental car allowance expired!! My car looked great, he even touched up some rock dings on the hood, at no expense to me! Highly recommend BODY WERKS OF STREAMWOOD!!
