We had a plumbing emergency on a Sunday and called Excel. They were very helpful on the phone and said that their plumber, John, would be calling us shortly to talk to us about the problem. He called back within minutes and said he would be there at 130PM and actually arrived at 1 which was very much appreciated considering our plumbing issue. He was very friendly and professional and quickly located our problem., a collapsed pipe. This ending up being a big job and John explained fully what would be required and wrote up a very competitive quote on-site. The job began earlier than expected and was completed on time. It required a crew of guys who were all very friendly and professional, and extremely efficient. John then followed up with us to take a look in the pipes and check for any additional issues. The entire process was very easy and most importantly was performed as explained and on time. Excel did a great job and were very neat with their work areas and cleaned up fully when complete. John is an excellent representation of the company, but I would also like to add that Tom the dispatch person was also excellent in communicating with us, letting us know what was happening and when.

Very professional, very knowledgeable, fair pricing. We had Excel come out for 3 different problems. The first 2 were minor, and I was very impressed with their professionalism (an outside spigot sprang a leak, and a leaky toilet). Both jobs were completed quickly, and for a price I was very pleased with. When our basement sewer backed up, 4 months after having another company "rot" out the roots in the sewer line, I called Excel. They did a great job identifying the problem, installing an outside clean-out, and clearing the line. The head of the crew that was going to do the excavating work actually came out the day before to check just what needed to be done, so that he would bring all the correct equipment. They had to manually dig about 8 - 9 feet deep through clay. They took great care to protect the bushes they were working around. Everything was done in an efficient, clean manner. The entire crew carries themselves professionally, and takes pride in their work. After the job was done, I had a follow-up and they made sure the pipes were in good shape and we wouldnt have any more back-ups. Id definitely recommend Excel to anyone in the area.

I had to use Excel Plumbing twice in the last two weeks. One was for a main line to the sewer that had roots causing a backup, the other was for a copper pipe that was leaking and corroded behind our drywall. For both visits they sent Yury. I was happy to see him the second time because I knew how knowledgeable he is after the first visit. Yury was excellent in identifying the actual problem and explaining the options to me so that I can make an informed decision. Before Yury left, he also provided me with some general maintenance tips so that I do not run into either of these issues in the future. The final price on both projects were much lower than I had originally thought they would be. Excel Plumbing also has great coupons available on their website that they are happy to honor. I found Excel Plumbing to very honest and affordable and I think thats what you look for when searching for a plumbing company during an emergency. I will use Excel Plumbing always in the future.

10 days ago I experienced Excel Plumbing for the first time. My parents had moved into a new apartment in the suburbs after living in the city for 35 years and quickly discovered a hot water problem -- namely, a lack of it! They first called a plumbing company they used many years ago... but when the serviceman showed up he simply said, "You need a bigger hot water heater." The landlord then called Excel and John came out. This time I was there. John was wonderful. Patient, polite, willing to explain the challenges in detail with the current hot water heater, and he repeatedly adjusted the temperature of both thermostats (testing the water each time) to ensure that my parents wouldnt get scalded. He genuinely cared about leaving my parents in better shape than when he arrived.

George and his assistant arrived on time and did a great job of clearing our kitchen sink clog. They were very polite, worked efficiently, and were knowledgeable about how to resolve the problem. They were kind to share some tips which will, hopefully, help us in the future to not have a similar problem. I appreciated that Excel does not charge by the hour and offers a free estimate before proceeding. I wrote a recommendation for them to our neighbors hoping that they will try Excel next time they need a great plumbing service.

My family and I experienced a leak in our kitchen caused by an old garbage disposal that has seen better days. Upon calling early in the morning, Alex (their technician) showed up early (which was a pleasant and welcome surprise) and was professional, knowledgeable, and very thorough with his work. Repairs were done in a timely manner and the cost was very reasonable. I will definitely use Excel Plumbing again in the future and will recommend them to any neighbors or friends looking for a plumber.

We called Excel because our kitchen sink drain was backing up when we used our garbage disposal. Excels plumber, George, quickly isolated the problem, and thoroughly cleaned out the drain, which eliminated the problem (it hasnt returned as of three weeks following the visit. George was polite, professional, and explained the reason for the problem, and what we could do to forestall a re-occurance. I cant think of how our experience could have been better. The work was guaranteed, too!

The waste line to the sewer was completely clogged with tree roots. Another company came and tried to drill, then jet, it clear, but past experience told me it needed to be replaced. I called Excel for a second opinion and am So Glad! They were prompt, considerate of my concerns, timely in getting the work done, and well priced. Their communication system was excellent; they kept me updated on what was happening and when. I couldnt be more pleased with their service.

These guys came out to rod my kitchen since anf my utility sink that were backed it up. Tech was a really good guy he did fix the problem so Im not bad-mouthing him at all but when they did leave my bathroom tub started filling up more slowly it never did that before when I called to explain the next day and they wanted to charge me another service call to come out dont think Im going to use them again. My opinion not the right way to do professional business.

Honesty is all what counts. called Excel for drain cleaning job after we had experienced clogging in the master bathroom and used some chemical to clean the system, however we decided to call plumber to check it out. John of Excel came out and tested the line pressure and the drain flow in every bathroom and found out the system is already working, did not charge us anything all what he did was passing his business card, hard to believe.

I had a plumbing emergency and called Excel Plumbing explaining my emergency with in 20 min I had a plumber at my door. He told me the price range that i was looking at and went to work. With in an hour he replaced the broken kitchen pipe and even cleaned up after himself (which was very nice!!!!!). Im very happy with the service and will definitely be a returning customer and I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends.
