I have been a customer of Shawnee Garage so long that everyone there knows me by name. I love this place! They have taken wonderful care of every car I have owned. I started coming here when I was a freshman at Northwestern and I wouldnt go anywhere else. They are friendly, helpful, and they do good work. Oh, and perhaps most important, they are totally honest! They are not the cheapest, but they have never tried to take me for a ride. So if they tell me something needs attention, I have them do it. How many automobile repair places can you name that are completely trustworthy? This is definitely one, as far as I am concerned. When you walk into Shawnee Garage, its like stepping back into a different time when personal service was paramount. Youll see just about every kind of car in the shop, from a 60s Chevy to the latest Mercedes. I think they get their business entirely from word-of-mouth referrals. I would like to mention that inside Shawnee Garage is a car detailing business called CarSmart. Once a year I have them professionally detail my car while it is in for service, and when I get it back it always looks amazing! The price is very reasonable.

I rely on and trust Shawnee with all regular maintenance and repairs to my 16 year old, city street parked Honda, one of main reasons my car still runs beautifully at 16 years old. While Shawnee does not handle body work, they advise me of other repairs needed, when needed, estimated costs, time and schedule, and priorities for repair. Unlike my dealer, Shawnee may advise a proactive repair, but will not advise repairs not needed. Costs are broken out by parts and labor. Labor costs are calculated by book. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and treat customers with dignity and respect.

EXCELLENT! As always, and for nearly a decade, Shawnee continues to provide excellent service. Phil and Rogers and all the wonderful people there make it a friendly and warm place that has a neighborhood and welcoming feel. The work Ive had done at Shawnee is consistently terrific and has addressed each specific problem. I have complete confidence in Shawnee and it is a wonderful feeling to know there is a place right in Wilmette that is honest, reliable and offers extraordinary service work for my car.

Bob and Phil run this excellent service facility. I have used them for years, and they have consistently provided excellent diagnosis and excellent repair service. I have never felt pressure to purchase service beyond what was needed to solve the particular problem. I feel confident that they are completely honest and competent.

Took my Ford truck here for possible fuel pump repair recommended by my local Ford dealer. Since my truck was out of warranty I took it to Shawnee on the advice of a friend. They tested my truck over a three day period at minimal charge and concluded that no repair was necessary.
