I turned my computer in almost two weeks ago, and I called in several times to see how my computer was coming along. They never appeared to be annoyed by my calling in, and the staff was very gracious to constantly let me know how it was going. They ran several tests on my computer to determine its problems, and charged me the minimum price because my computer wasnt repairable. I ended up buying a new computer and I took it in to have a data transfer done and it only took them a few hours. I was very impressed with their professionalism and how quickly they worked on it. They had a ton of computers in there to be repaired, and they made me feel like I mattered to them. I will be using them in the future if I have any problems with my new computer.

Terrible customer service. After failing to complete my data transfer to my new computer, I took my computer back into PC Max and waited another two days to fix their mistake. When picking up my computer, I asked for a discount or partial refund due to my lost time and transportation. The employee rudely said that was not on my ticket and I would have to come back when Chris (manager? owner?) was in. Great another inconvenient trip for me. On top of all of this, the employee could not even tell me when Chris would be in. For a locally owned business, I would expect such better professionalism and help.

Im one of those geeky guys - I build websites and do a little programming. A long time ago I was a small business computer installation/consultant/repair guy, too. When I cant figure something out I take my machine to these guys. They are enormously helpful and knowledgeable. I recommend them to all my friends, and over many years have never found a problem with their service or work. I am writing now because, I just went in with my son and his computer. We thought it was dead dead dead. Nope. Its all going to be cool, and it will probably cost $100. These guys are great.

I cannot recommend these guys enough. They repaired my clumsy attempt to fix a mac book with minimal fees incurred. They listened to my ludicrous story and were always as accommodating as possible. At the very least send them an email and if you can explain what you need done they will give you as accurate a quote as possible before getting into the machine. These guys got back with me in one business day and were always reaching out to update me on progress of the project. Sam, Patrick, and Jacob are a crew to be recognized. Thanks for the help!

I have used PCMax for at least 5 years. I can add a new component or do minor repairs but when something ceases to function or fails intermittently Im out of my league. The guys at PCMax have always been very helpful and friendly. They have never failed to fix my computer and have been careful at discussing the advantages, disadvantages, and especially the prices of various options in the repair process. I would certainly recommend them highly.

PC MAX in Bloomington ROCKS! My laptop needed immediate attention, and they fixed me right up!! Patrick, the technician, was courteous and patient and super-informative (on the phone AND in person)--and he solved my problem very quickly! And the price couldnt be beat! I highly recommend this shop for your computer needs--emergencies or otherwise!

My computer was running slow so I brought it to them. A week latter I got my computer back and nothing worked right. It was so bad I bought a new computer. Cost $130 to have my computer ruined. Do not go there!!!
