Once again Mowery comes through! Weve been loyal to Mowerys Heating and Air and Plumbing for well over a decade for one very simple reason. They come through for us time and time again. Yesterday, a day in August, we woke up to our AC making a very strange noise. Went down to the basement to investigate and discovered the AC line all frosted up. I called Mowerys and they were at our house in less than 30 minutes! Diagnosis: system is toast! This was no surprise as our AC and furnace were over 25 years old and they had advised prior to start thinking about replacing. We already knew there were problems lurking because we contract with them for maintenance on our systems in the spring and fall. But, like most people I guess, we crossed our fingers and hoped they would last a little longer. The tech left after calling someone to come give us a price for a new HVAC system and he showed up less than an hour later. Their pricing was very fair and based on past experience we knew the job would be done right so we gave them the nod to go ahead. Today, one day later, Im writing to let you know our new furnace and AC are installed and running! Ahhhhh, sweet, sweet AC, how I love you! The owner of Mowerys, Chip Cochran, even paid a visit during installation to make sure everything was going well. This kind of service and care are the reason we have stayed loyal to them for many years. They have never let us down. They have never steered us wrong and they have never ripped us off. Their techs are the friendliest bunch of guys and will take the time to explain everything to you, go over your options (whether to repair or replace) and make sure you are happy before they leave. We will continue to be happy customers for years to come, Im sure. Thanks Mowerys!!!

After my A/C stopped working, I called Mowery. They said someone would be out the following day to figure out the issue. No one ever showed up, and after several days went by, I finally called to check the status. They werent sure what happened, but assured me someone would be out the following day. The rep came out and told me that I needed a new A/C compressor. He said that he wasnt sure how much it would be, as he didnt do the pricing, but he would have someone call me. A different rep came out later that day and began to quote me for an entirely new system costing $15K+. I let him know that I just needed the existing system repaired, as it was only 9 years old. Once again, he didnt have pricing for this, so he said someone would call me to discuss. I asked for a second opinion, so he said someone would also come out. Another rep came out the following day and said that the compressor was fine. When I came home later that day and the temperature was still in the 80s, I called back into Mowery. I went over everything again, and they were going to send yet another tech out. The new tech was baffled at what the prior two techs had done, and assured me that I did need a new compressor but he had no idea what it would coat. He would have someone contact me ASAP since it had now been 10 days where we had no air. No one called, so I called back in yet again. I was told the estimator was out for the next couple of days, so I had to wait until he got back. Plus, they would have to then order the compressor he recommended, so wed be looking at another several days. She assured me she would call me in the next 30 minutes with some solid information and never did. I wont ever do business with this company again. As a small business owner myself, this is pretty pathetic.

Ill give them credit for getting a technician here promptly when needed; however, our unit was nearly ruined by one of their technicians. We signed up for their monthly service agreement to be automatically deducted from our bank acct. When the tech came out to service our unit as part of the agreement, after cleaning it he reconnected some cables incorrectly. Less than two weeks after he was here the temp inside our home in the middle of July was over 80 degrees! Our unit was constantly running too. We had to pay ANOTHER company to come out and fix Mowerys mistake. Now, we received our electric bill and its gone up by over $100 as a result of our unit constantly running trying to compensate for the cables connected incorrectly. Thats not the only problem... Earlier in the summer our second floor was nearly 90 degrees. We called them to come out and look at it, the tech told us our unit is too small for our house and the salesperson should come instead. He came the next day and told us we need a new unit costing $18k!! We decided to investigate the unit ourselves and found that the fix to our problem was FREE. The upstairs was so hot because the damper was closed! So long story short, more often than not, weve had to either fix something ourselves or pay someone else. I would NOT recommend them.

Great Service!!! The last two months I had an electric bill of $300!!! I was afraid that the heat pump for my furnance was out so I paid it.... woof... then I talked to Mowery, met the owners and his wife, Chip & Sarah, they sent someone out the next day after I told them what was going on. I was so afraid it would cost me, but they eased my mind with the fact of getting it fixed sooner than later. Bobby K. Came out and was extremely nice! He found the problem which was an easy fix and saved me from many more $300 electric bills!!! I was so happy! Mowery was quick and efficient! I highly recommend this company to everyone!!!

I highly recommend calling Mowery for any HVAC needs. We had an older model AC that went out and needed replacement, Mowery came out on a Saturday to give us an estimate. Kreig worked with us to find exactly what we needed while also staying within our budget and get things set up. On the day of installation, the team was on-time, polite, and worked quickly to get the AC replaced in just a few hours. Chip even stopped by to check on their progress! Things are cool and comfortable now, so thanks to the whole team for a job well done.

Absolutely the worst diagnostics, two different technicians with no resolve of the issue. I explained what I thought was wrong they didnt want to hear any of it and shrugged if off. Today I had Mister Quick Home Services come by and they listened to what I thought and wouldnt you know it, it was the problem all along "low Refrigerant" Which Mowery guys didnt want to check the pressures even after I asked them to. So thank you Mowery for all the High Electric bills and service costs for nothing, Simple fix for good technicians.

We recently moved into a house in the Avon area, and the AC went out on the move-in day, and my wife was pregnant and NOT having it. I called Mowery, who promptly responded that day to diagnose the issue that afternoon, and they had it fixed by the following morning. They even helped me with placing the warranty claim on the part that went bad. Both techs that came out were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I would for SURE recommend this company to anyone looking for prompt, courteous and professional service.
