I would recommend no one go here to get color! The hair stylist have no clue what they are doing and will ruin your hair. I went here to get my hair colored for the first time and wanted a shade lighter than my natural (brown) and ended up with bleach blonde hair that was more of a yellow/orange blonde. It was not what I wanted and they were very professional the first time, Ill give them that, by letting me come back a few days later to fix it. When I came back to get it fixed from the mess they made the first time all they did was try to cover it up with more of the blonde highlights. At first I liked it, but when I got home and really looked at my hair I realized that they didnt try to fix what they messed up and what I wanted but just tried cover it up with MORE blonde on the top (even though I wanted brown). My intention in going in here was never to have blonde hair and somehow even after telling them what I ended up with blonde hair. I called back the 3rd time and they were very rude and unprofessional about it, telling me basically it was my fault even though I told them exactly what I wanted and even showed them a picture of the color I wanted. I ended up going to a different salon who did exactly what I wanted and told me that beauty brands did infact take a short cut around what I wanted and tried to just "highlight" my hair instead of coloring it like I asked. Not only did they ruin my hair, but I paid 75$ just to have my hair turn out terrible and have to go somewhere else to get it fixed. If you want your hair colored I recommend to NOT go to beauty brands for it, they will ruin your hair.

My wife worked for Beauty Brands at this location. Prior to being rehired, my wife advised management that another employee had an issue with her, they advised that it would not be a problem. When problems started to occur, my wife complained to the managers and no action was taken. Even when we approached management to let them know that the other employee had slandered her, no action was taken. We tried obtaining the district managers number, but nobody would provide it. My wife tried calling the HR hotline, but the number was out of service. We called corporate numerous times asking to speak to HR, but our messages were not returned. We called corporate asking for the district manager to call us, still no call. Finally we made a post on the official Beauty Brands Facebook page and they got us in contact with the VP of Human Resources. We sent her an e-mail outlining the issues, that was at the beginning of July, we have heard nothing. I sent a follow-up e-mail to the CEO and Vice President of HR and still no response. Employees are a companys most valued asset. Every person weve tried contacting in this organization from the store manager all the way to the CEO have shown that they dont take employee complaints seriously, as evidenced by their failure to respond. If a company doesnt take care of their most valued asset, do you think theyll value you as a customer?

I have been using this Beauty Brands location since it open. I have always been treated with respected and professionalism . I have been getting highlights and lowlights along with my hair being cut and styled. I have had my eyes brows and upper lip waxed.(I have VERY sensitive skin and have had no problems.) On special occasion I have had my makeup done by thier wonderfully talented senior stylist Kristy B. Their are different level of stylist and they are all well trained. Sometimes some services do have to have an appointment for i.e. makeup apps., nails,and spa services. When you call or walk-in let them know what you want >a helpful hint if you are getting your cut show them the length you prefer because after all we are walking,talking billboards for them. I would describe my unbelievably horrific experience, but when I do Google Maps hides & buries my review. (And I get personally attacked by the stylists & their friends.) Apparently, Beauty Brands has managed to manipulate Google Maps Reviews & have had my damning photos unpublished. What is the point of writing a review if I cant be heard? Trust me when I tell you Beauty Brands does not care about their clients & they shamefully mistreat their unhappy ones. The nicey-niceness & big, toothy smiles that greet you are smoke and mirrors for vindictive cattiness. I do not recommend anyone ever go to BB. Instead, I recommend you run as fast & far away as possible. Photo: It took nearly two years for my hair to recover after being destroyed by Adrienne Lundin in October, 2015.

I regularly visit Beauty Brands to have my lip and eyebrows waxed and I always have a great experience! :) Ive had multiple people there complete my waxing, and its always been spot on. They are very accommodating with setting up appointments and are quick to get me in and out. I highly recommend this place for a great wax - especially if your schedule is hectic! PS - The annual Liter sale is awesome, too.

Beauty Brands in Carmel is a great place to get all your styling needs met! I have gone there regularly for over 5 years, and I have never been disappointed. Holly is my regular stylist and her cuts and color are always better than my expectation! I also get brow waxes and buy product there frequently and I am very happy with all services at Carmel location!

I bought 2 conditioners by mistake during their liter sale. When I realized the mistake, and went to exchange one of the bottles for shampoo, they were going to charge me the shampoo at regular price because the sale was over. Poor customer service.

I usually go to the one in Avon, but the staff at this is A LOT friendlier. They were actually willing to help and werent snotty like the staff at Avon.
