Linda went so far above and beyond Im still telling everyone I know about the experience and will probably continue to do so for quite some tome! Your organization should consider ypurself extrememly lucky to have Linda as an employee. She exemplifies world class customer service, the kind of customer service every organization strives to achieve yet rarely does. I am a corporate sales and customer service trainer and she exemplifies everything I try to teach all of my adult students. When I arrived I already wasnt happy with the cost of my storage then I found out I was required to purchase your insurance instead of using my homeowners insurance (something the Southside location did not require me to purchase insurance), I had already purchased the same kind of lock I use at the South Side location and wasnt happy to find out that your locks are different anzd I had to purchase yet another $20 lock and charged an administration fee ( something else I wasnt charged at your South Side location). Honestly, I was pretty irritated. Linda took control of the situation - apologized, explained tje who, whats and whys...and before I even knew it...she had calmed the situation with professionalism, kindness, and understanding. I am good with the prices, charges and extras I had to purchase and its only because of my interactions with Linda. Unfortunately, I had the exact opposite experience at your location on the South Side (off of Madison and Southport). From the s.,mell of marijuana when you walk into the office, to the filthy streets lined with trash, to the the lady who had shoes all over the place inside and around her van & storage unit cleaning them with bleach wearing mask (the fumes were so bad I had to leave and come back) to being told "Im not customer service ... call our 800#" when I asked why the lights inside my unit werent working and when they would be fixed... The culture at the South Side location versus the Fishers location is completely opposite. Public Storage management - Feel free to contact me if you have any follow-ups I am a real person.

Amanda ia AMAZING! I cannot begin to tell you how helpful she has been EVERY time I need assistance! When I reserved a unit online it turned out to not actually be what I was needing but no where had the actual unit I needed for the move in cost I needed either! It was VERY frustrating! Amanda called me and let me know exactly what size units she had right away on move in special and when the larger unit I have would be available. Thankfully I would only have to wait just a few more days! She made sure she transferred my online reservation to that unit for my new move in date and told me to please make sure I spoke to her when I came in. She apologized more times than I can count during our call that day and renewed my hope in a company I was ready to walk away from! On the day of my move in I walked in and said why I was there and right away she smiled as widely as she could as she said, "Im Amanda. You must be Cinthia. Im so pleased to finally meet you and again Im so sorry for all the trouble you have had." Needless to say after making contact with Amanda my experience has been wonderful and I have not had a single problem! That outstanding woman deserves a raise, if not a promotion! As a company you are very lucky to have her!

My experience has been over all positive. I tried to rent a unit near my home, but nothing was available at what I thought was a reasonable price. The agent recommended I go on-line to obtain a cost reduction and advised the Allisonville Rd might be a good option. I reserved my unit on-line and set an appointment for 9:30am check in which is when the office opens. Even though I was 5 minutes early, there were several people ahead of me. The agent was professional, and worked as quickly as possible to get everyones questions answered so she could get to me. As it turned out, the unit reserved was a 10x5 foot, which would not accommodate my motorcycle. The move to a 5x10 foot (deep) was an up-charge. We prepared all the paper work, and she allowed me to drive home and measure my motorcycle to insure it would go through the door, prior to committing to the contract. This was great service. Cons: I gave 4 stars for the web interface. It should clearly state 1) the size of the unit and the associated cost. 2) That the lock I brought could NOT be used; I had to purchase a $20 special lock to secure the door.

I have no complaint with the Facility and local Management, they have been very good and responsive. As far as the rating goes two stars is not reflective on the local facility. As far as the corporate side of Public Storage. I received a notice of a 15% + monthly increase. I contacted customer service to discuss the increase. I was told the Executives review and decide on increases and that the increase was non negotiable and that the "Executives understand that some people will have to find other places to store their belongings. I am sure the lady I spoke with was reading script provided and was being recorded. I have since removed our belongings and will not ever use Public Storage again and I will tell people the same. I understand increases due to cost of doing business, but not to this extent. I was told that the Executive read these reviews, I am highly skeptical that they do.

This was one of the most pleasant experiences Ive had in the last 2-3 years with regard to speaking to someone, whos interested, knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful too. Im talking about Linda. I wish I had a business because I would surely try and get her to work for me. My wife had a very satisfying experience with Brad, who took care of a paperwork issue in a friendly manner. Renting a storage space is kind of like buying a home, with all the legal docs which have to be explained and signed, only much less signing. I would highly recommend you look here first and save yourself a lot of time. BTW the facilities are up to date, clean, area is neat, and have a good system to keep my belongings secure.

Linda is very friendly and very helpful and always has a great attitude. Today she when I was in to pay for our unit she was training Carly and talking to a long winded customer on the phone while I waited for her to finish the call. I could tell the customer was asking a lot of questions that where pretty much common since in nature. However Linda answered each question patiently and professionally. After she got of the phone I congratulated her on how she handled the caller. She said all our customers are important. Then she introduced me Carly and who has a great smile and friendly personality and I concluded my business. My wife and I have always had a great experience when visiting this location.

This place is super great! The website is so efficient and straightforward. This was my first time to get a storage unit, but they had made it so I had zero confusion about the whole process. I needed the unit very quickly. They were so quick and accommodating that they were able to help me out within half an hour. But I think the customer service was my best experience with Public Storage. Linda was so awesome the entire time. She helped me out right away and made sure we were completely satisfied with the unit. She even came out and offered me some tape when I needed to wrap up my mattresses. She really took care of me. I feel really comfortable with these guys!! Thank you!!
