The dry trap scam. Myself and my brother have both moved into newly built homes by the same builder that uses Earl Gray. Ive called several times for a sewage smell in my laundry room, they tell me to poor oil down the drain. Ive poor oil every couple months down the washer drain. Out of warranty they finally send someone out, typical plumbers crack, nice guy though, just very poorly dressed. He new the problem before he walked in, stating that he will charge if it is a dry trap. He walked to the laundry room and poor water in a drain under the washer, no way anyone wouldve known where that drain was. Charged me $90 for something that couldve been explained over the phone. My brother is having the exact same issue, house is 2 weeks old, I will save him the money and tell him myself. Called the main number to complain, was shutdown pretty quickly by a rude gentlemen. I told him they couldve told me what drain to poor it down, he said they wouldnt know what drain we have.... they installed all the plumbing in my house... How wouldnt they know!

A dry trap scam!! Similar to previous reviews!!! if you face similar scam, go here to file a claim to official authorities. This is my first time to leave a review in the goggle system. Avoid this company if you can. Charge me $89 for not flushing the toilet?? Seriously? The plumber was late for 30 min and did a lousy job with a report that is untrue and without any evidence. The customer service over the phone is even more terrible, super rude, and irrational. The lady was quickly into a defensive status, while I was trying to explain it is impossible to be a dry trap. It seemed like this lady deals with similar complaints all the time. Surely, this is a scam. A very horrible experience. Avoid this company!! especially the Franklin branch!!

I made a help phone call to Earl Gray in the morning after noticing a smell of gas around the fireplace in our new home. The lady that picked up the phone was attentive, and understanding. A technician was with us in pretty good time and fixed the problem (a bad connection). Later on the same day I made a second call for a similar problem (not the same source of leak), and had another technician come out and deal with another leak. Both guys were very timely, professional, and courteous. I would recommend earl Gray and Sons.

I had a sump pump go bad while I was traveling. I had Earl Gray come out to investigate as they installed the pump when the house was being built. They changed the pump and said it was bad and installed a new one to the sound of $450. I called to inquire about their hourly rate and was given the run around. The pump they installed can be purchased on Amazon for $60 and when I brought this up they became even more disgruntled. I realize everyone needs to make money, but roughly $400 for 10 mins of work?

My Sump Pump was constantly running. Our alarm kept going over the weekend because of the constant rain. I called Earl Gray on Monday at 7am and Danny was dispatched to come and evaluate my situation. He was very professional and told me my system was working fine but I had to replace the float. Within a few minutes the job was done and I now have a normally working system. Thanks Earl Gray and Sons.. Eric

Very pleased with the ease and quickness of scheduling, and the plumber that fixed our issue went above and beyond to help resolve our gas line problem! He was even EARLY and fixed the issue in under an hour!! Very happy customer!

Worst and outrageous customer service! Customer service representative and manager were rude on the phone. wouldnt acknowledge existing known issues. not cooperative at all. Would NEVER deal with this company again!!!
