I am impressed. Its hard to find auto repair shops that take the time to do the job right, are honest to their customers, and are locally owned. I was sent to main street auto tech after a local tire store stripped out one of my lug nuts. Luckily, the tire store made up for their mistake by paying for the repairs and sending me to a quality shop. When the auto technician finished the repair, I talked to him about a couple of other issues I was having with my vehicle. Surprisingly, he actually took the time to explain to me what was most likely causing the issues, and how to fix them. He also topped off my steering fluid after I told him it was pretty low, and he explained to me that newer Audis such as mine use crimp connects on the steering fluid hose, and that it is a simple fix of tightening up the crimps. Since I was due for an oil change I went ahead and had them change the oil and fix the hose crimps, as well as a few other issues. Total bill was under a hundred bucks! Audi dealer charged me more than double for a similar service, and left my engine compartment covered in oil. Since my Audi warrantee recently expired, I will bring my service repairs to main street auto tech. I love German cars, just not the maintenance cost that comes with them. Im glad I found an import specialist in Indianapolis, other than the dealer, to take my car to.

Ive been going to Main Street Auto Tech for a little over a year. With this said, Ive been treated fair, honest, and would recommend their services to anyone. Even when I come in for just an oil change, they perform a thorough check of my BMW. They do not use "pressure sales tactics" and only repair what is needed. It is very hard to find an "Honest Mechanic", I feel Ive found one.

I had the best auto shop experience! My BMW needed front & rear brakes, along with an oil gasket replacement. I am so thankful, I called Main Street Auto Tech. The dealer was charging more than double for the same repairs. Thank you for saving me money! I dont know many auto shops that will drop off and pick up their customers. You went above and beyond!
