Ive loved working with these guys. Im not a complete gearhead, but I know most of whats involved when working with cars. Ive done lots of smaller jobs on my own vehicles, but some get large enough that I dont have the tools and/or time to do them myself. When that happens, I go to A&A. Last year, on a freak incident, my half shaft sheared itself as I was backing out of a parking space at work. My car was undriveable. I did some searches, and found A&A had some excellent reviews. I called them up, around 9 AM the following morning from work. They picked up my car around noon, and had it fixed as I was leaving work that same day. Their cost estimate was exactly what I was expecting, and it held true to the end. Just recently, I noticed my clutch slipping, and knew it was time to replace the clutch. I called them up, and once again, their estimate was spot on. I let them know about another rattling sound I heard as I drove over bumps, and they pinpointed that issue with my sway bars. A job that likely would have cost at least $50-$100 in labor, they only charged me for materials since they were already down to the transmission. I asked for a simple check over for anything else that might be wrong, and they didnt think anything else was necessary for the time being. They did this in only a day, by the way. These guys are knowledgeable, quick, and most importantly, honest. Every time Ive come back to pick up my car, they bring out the broken pieces so I can see myself just how bad the issue was (even if you dont know cars, its pretty cool). Just recently moving to Indianapolis for a full-time job, I can say that Im confident I can take my car to these guys whenever I need to. They are the best repair shop Ive ever dealt with.

We have been using A & A Tire and Auto Service for about a year and a half and I am happier with their service than just about any service provider we use. Whether it be our phone company, apartment office, or especially any of the auto services we have used in the past, the owner of this establishment has gone far above and beyond to help myself and my wife not only have better running vehicles, but also to know more about them and the problems themselves. Most places you go, you feel as if the workers are trying to swindle you out of money and take advantage, but every time we head over to A & A, the owner handles our business directly, he goes through the over-all status of the cars, and then he tells us what is actually necessary to take care of or not. There have been times that I have gone in and expected to pay a thousand dollars for a repair that seems to need taken care of and hell let me know that if we leave it, itll cause noise but no damage to the car. He gave up a thousand dollar pay check so that his customers will be taken care of. This man is professional, caring, and I believe, treats us as his own family after only a year and a half. You couldnt pay me to try another auto service, we finally feel comfortable.

I asked for a diagnostic test to be ran on my car and was told I had to leave it, then I was called and informed that they did a pressure test on my car and put antifreeze in it and charged me 74.09 for it, then insinuated that I had no common sense, when I informed him I just had my fluids checked and there was antifreeze in it, his response was Well I dont know what to tell you. I asked him how could he take advantage of me like this his words were, you got heat dontcha. Well I really hope what he is doing dont come back on him fair weights and balances, when you do someone wrong expect no good to come of it. In answering : You told me that a diagnostic testing was 49.95 how is a pressure test that basically runs around 30 dollars at the most more. But I guess you can set your own prices I just know that it was an overcharge and you did what you wanted, I asked for a diagnostic to be ran, and I thought that was what I was getting and you telling me what you gave me is not good service. Coolant is no where near 40 bucks.

I am so thankful that I was referred to A & A... John and his staff have been fabulous! After going to another shop and being told I had a bad gasket head (basically needed my engine replaced), I called John and spent several minutes on the phone with him describing everything I had been told by the other shop. I felt very comfortable having Johns shop come and tow my van to their location. He and his staff thoroughly inspected my vehicle and found out that I did NOT have a bad gasket head and did not need a new engine. It would have been so easy for John to tell me I did need a new one but he didnt... He was honest and told me the truth!! I am a very happy customer that has a new radiator and a van that now runs perfectly! THANK YOU A & A Tire and Auto Service!

My son bought a car on Georgia and drove it back to Indianapolis, only to find that the engine blew about 10 miles from home. He had to have it towed to A & A Tire and Auto Service. We were at the mercy of the mechanic unless we wanted another towing charge. We were pleasantly surprised at how professional and honest the owner was in dealing with a long distance mother and my son who didnt have any wheels and needed to have it fixed quickly at a reasonable price. We are both so happy with the service we received my son and his family is going to take all their vehicles to A & A. It is tough to find good mechanics that know what they are doing, not overcharge for unnecessary work, and are honest. I would highly recommend A & A.

The owner of A and A is one of the most honest and forthcoming individuals Ive ever met. I took my car to a mechanic out of town and he recommended I get my pads, rotors, and calipers on my back two tires replaced (quoted me $500). I took my car to John (owner of A and A) for a second opinion and was told only rotors and pads needed replaced and it cost me far less than half of what the other mechanic quoted me. John always does a great job of explaining what the problem is and how he will help you fix it. He is refreshingly honest in an industry that is rife with customer distrust and I can confidently say I would recommend him to any of my friends or family and I plan on being a lifelong customer.

Car: 2000 Mercury Sable I will never take my car to any other place but A&A. I took my car there for the first time last week for a front passenger tire. Well after a few minutes John came in and told me my coil springs were broken. I asked if I could hold off on getting them replaced. What John did surprised me. He took me into the garage and showed me both coils and sure enough they were really broken. I never had a mechanic actually show me what he was going to repair. REALLY?? Who does that?? John does. Everyone that came in that day knew him by name and could not stop speaking his praises. Hes honest and knows what hes doing. I highly recommend A&A Tire and Auto Service.
