In a desperate time when my wife needed help asap. I was in a business meeting across the country, I could not be reached during the day time hours. She was referred to All star by AAA towing. She received a phone call from a gentleman named Brad, About what it was going to take to get her van back on the road. She said, to me later that night. Wayne, I was so nervous and scared.. I had no clue what to do. Brad Explained everything to me in detail. He gave me different options of what I could do. I told him my husband was away and normally he takes care of auto repair but he is unreachable. Brad then spent 20+ minutes on the phone with her going over the plan of attack on getting her car on the road again. We had just had some repairs done at another facility she wasnt sure if it was something related to what they did. Brad called the other facility and got a copy of our history. It was not a related problem, But wow the customer service Brad provided was top notch! Within a matter of a day our van was back on the road safe and sound! My wife now states, She is no longer worried about car problems when i am gone. She know who to call. "Brad at All Star" From the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank Brad and All star for taking care of my family in a time of need! I tried to call the following day to personally thank Brad. He was unavailable at the time.. The person answering the phone informed me he is the service manager.. I was not surprised at all.. With that kind of customer service and making my wife comfortable with our vehicle and money with Brad that he was the manager, But i got to tell you I was almost thinking it was the Owner! All star you have a winner on your team! I am a business owner and we specialize in customer service. From the information my wife told me about there conversations and all the work he did. I didnt even know there was such a professional honest Automotive repair shop anymore. If we didnt live 2 hours away you would have a life long customer! Thanks again and God bless All star tire and Brad!!

I began taking my car to All Star because it was nearby and the service was very quick and I dont have time to do the work on the car myself. I was at first impressed with the friendliness and promptness of the service at All Star, until the quality of the work became increasingly poor. I have never gotten an oil change where the mechanics have properly latched down all of the fluid tubes and wires - they have all been left unattached and I have had to reattach them myself. After two oil changes, I have to retighten the battery cables because the mechanics have left it so loose that it can be taken off without any resistance. The last straw came when I took my car in to have the alternator belt and AC belt replaced. The mechanics put the belts on inappropriately (they misaligned the grooves). This happened within 400 miles of getting the car serviced. By the time I identified the problem, the AC belt had been worn completely off and lodged in various parts of the engine and the alternator belt was thinner than a shoelace. I took the car back and demanded that all the belts be replaced for free. They were more than accomodating, and even gave me a free oil change and tire rotation. Unfortunately, even THAT turned out to be awful, because the mechanics overfilled my oil to the point where it was about half an inch above the recommended mark on the oil stick AND they tightened my bolts on the tires WAY too tight. I had to use a MACHINE to get the bolts off to do some work on the brakes. Needless to say, I will NOT be returning to All Star tires for any future services. While their prices might be accomdating, the quality of their work is extremely sloppy and possibly dangerous to the functioning of the car.

Bad Attitude - Arrogant Agent - I just wanted to buy a high performance tire, I had a flat and though I destroyed my original tire. The aggressive service agent told me he couldnt sell me just one tire. said sometime about they had to be sold as a set of four. Made some comment about state laws not allowing him to sell single high performance tires, how it would off balance the performance of the car and cause an accident. I told him, I needed to get back to work; didn’t have time to take care of it that day; left. Lucky, there was Goodyear Service Center down the road, I asked them to fix my flat, they filled it with air; it was fine. I did look at their prices, and they were more reasonable then this other place, and they were willing to sell me one high performance tire at any time; within the next six months, should the refilled tire fail or I wash to upgrade it; with the repair cost credited towards the new tire. So, if I need a new tire(s), it wouldnt be purchased at All-star Tire. (Learn what customer service means guys – First Impressions, may be your last.)

Review of only the initial approach for tire pricing over the phone.... I was simply calling around to get some tire prices, I was not looking for phone pals. I answered a series of overly perky and sweetly delivered questions and had to give my name and number so they could "get together some quotes and call me back" (argh!). Within one minute I got a call back from another person sounding like he was interviewing me for the corner office executive position....I felt like I was being buttered and seasoned for the oven and almost forgot my mission: to get a price for TIRES! After slogging through more questions, some for the second time, the sales reps expectation$ were deflated (excuse the pun!) and he realized the mundane nature of my query. Finally I was given an inflated (excuse the pun!) price for my boring tire needs. Jeeze, people!....every interaction doesnt have to be a stroll in the rose garden. Cant we just do ordinary business without all the fawning?

I brought my car to them to put a new fuel pump in; first they tried to charge us hundreds of dollars more than any other shop around.....then, when we went to pay what we were originally told would cost $295, they charged us $450. We asked why, and the owner gave us some jargon run-around. So, we went to fill up with gas and as much as we were putting in the car was dumping onto the ground, under the car. Called the shop; no answer....took it to another shop. Was told by NEW mechanics that All Star did not properly dislodge the fuel tank when they put in the new fuel pump, causing the metal to crack on the tank and therefore not allowing us to gas-up. Still no return on our calls to All Star; I left a desperate message with them, after-hours, and they do not seem to care to respond. I will NEVER use their service again. I suspect that anything "good" you read about them is probably posted by someone from their shop.
