If they give you a written quote, make sure it is crystal clear. My 1st visit was fine. Purchased 4 goodyear eagle rs-a, which they had to order. Great tires, good service, all was good. And then... They told me I needed to replace my front tension struts before I get an alignment. They gave me a written quote on the struts. Quote says "Front Tension Struts" $400. Ok, that is plural, as in Sruts. More than one. I dropped my car off to them the next week to replace the struts and planned on spending around 600 for parts labor and alignment. A few hours later they call me after they have taken my car apart and ask about the amount they quoted me and told me the quote was for ONE strut, not both of them! Ok, the quote says Struts, as in two struts, not one strut. How much is the quote now, I ask? $900+!!! I told them to put my car back together and I will pick it up and they are not going to be doing any service on my car again. They said ok, but called back a few minutes later saying they need to tighten the struts and that will cost $295. At this point I know I have been screwed by them and that I was being cheated but I just wanted my car away from them and so I pay the $295 for them to put back together what they had taken apart. AND when I picked my car up I had a new door ding on the driver side door! My car now handles much worse than it did before taking it to them. My car drifts around on the road and there is play in the steering, which was not there before. Needless to say, I feel mislead, lied to, taken advantage of and cheated.

Worst Service Ever! I came into the location because I work next door to this particular location. I was never greeted with a "Hello Good Morning!" I just received a What can I help you with? and no eye contact. I thought maybe it was just a bad morning for them so I shrugged it off...NOPE! Upon me arriving to the location around 3:15 PM, an older mechanic with gray hair says, "Pickup or Drop off?" I said, "Pickup." He proceeds to take my keys off the rack and when I was ready to put my hand out to get the keys he tosses them on the desk....Other places like jiffy lube, Midas etc will place them in your hand...Not Here...I then place my credit card on the desk awaiting him to tell me the balance and instead he picks up my card and swipes my card without telling me anything....I then asked was my coupon added to the total...he states I Dont Know...Who helped you?....then storms out from the front desk mad for no reason...So the original guy I talked with says, "What is the problem?"..."I simply asked was the coupon I brought in earlier added to my total?" He tried to make me feel stupid by saying that the coupon is for conventional oil only...I said how was I suppose to know that you put synthetic blend in my car?! He then says oh yeah...... I am not the type of person whom would hold grudges at all but I truly can not believe the lack of respect for a new customer. I will never allow my family of friends to go here.

I want to thank you for the courteous, professional service you provided during my 2 recent visits to Indianapolis when my van experienced mechanical problems. After an uneventful trip home to Celina, I took my van to my regular mechanics for a complete check. They reported that all of your work was well done and I havent experienced any more problems. At 178,000 +miles, its still going strong! Again, thanks for the tow, the great service and the transportation to and from the mall!

Update: I visited Harris Tire this morning after getting a flat on the tire I was worried about since it was so old. They got me in and out with a new set of tires in less than an hour and a half. Price was competitive, and the service was great. I would recommend to anyone. I havent been yet, but just called for a price quote and they had the best quote by far. Especially compared to Midas or Firestone. The big corporate places will always screw you.

Good luck getting serviced. You call and they tell you walk ins only. Then you walk in and they tell you they are too busy, when there is 1 car in the garage. So if you work a real job, go somewhere else where you can actually schedule an appointment and know you will be serviced. This place sucks. Zero customer service. When I did walk in the guy at the counter acted like I was bothering him. This place wont last long.

Harris is the best independent car shop in the Indianapolis area hands down! Their technicians are honest and efficient, and very well trained. I go to Harris every time I need some general maintenance done to my vehicle, or a substantial repair. The techs at Harris know how to work on all my different types of vehicles. Harris has fair labor rates and good pricing on all parts and tires. Thank you Harris!

Ive been a Harris Tire and Auto customer for a couple of years now. My cars have been in for oil changes, tire replacement, and air conditioning system repairs. I have always received top-notch service at a fair price. Plus, I can feel good about supporting a local business. My only complaint is that I cannot schedule my service visits in advance.

I have taken my car many places and spent well over $1,000 trying to solve a problem, including the dealer. No one could fix it. I talked to Harris Tire and they seemed to understand what the problem was. So I brought it in and by late that afternoon my problem was solved for far less than I expected. I recommend this company to anyone.

I have been a Harris Tire customer for 20+ years and have always been satisfied. At times I am told things I do not want to hear such as it is time for brake work, you need a new battery, belts need to be changed, etc., but I realize they are doing their job in pointing out needed repairs and that makes me feel safer on the road.

I was in need of getting my brakes done like asap. And the team at Harris Tire & Automotive were able to accommodate my needs, they had me in and out an about an hour or so. Went to get a used tire, so they sold me a bad one that went flat an hour after. Dont think thats a coincidence. Plus it was Saturday noon and they close at 1pm on Saturdays and close on Sundays. So I had to look for other place and to repair it and extra money. At least check your tires before you sell them.

I was on the freeway when I got a flat tire, I pulled into Harris Tire and they got me in right away. The tire was not repairable so they replaced it pretty quickly and had me back on the road. Thew guys wee very friendly and I will recommend them to all of my friends. This is the best shop in town.
