Worst manicure ever! I had THE WORST mani + pedi experience at Evolve. For starters, I ended up waiting over an hour for my appointment, since the lady who was supposed to do my nails was busy doing a haircut. Once she got around to seeing me, she was very nice and apologetic, unfortunately very incapable as well. I actually took a picture of the terrible french manicure job she did - I cant post pics here, but trust me - my 6-year old goddaughter would have done a comparable job. The manicure was in fact so bad, that after an hour (just for the mani !), I called it quits and asked her to stop. The manager (I assume he was the manager) came over several times to see what was taking so long - saw my manicurist struggling to get a straight line and did absolutely nothing. When I was leaving, I settled my bill and left only 10% tip (since it was a complete waste of time and I had to go back home and redo everything). Once week later I saw they charged my card for 20% instead! This is easily the worst and most unprofessional salon Ive been to and I would strongly recommend you go somewhere else.

evolve is great! however, I did feel that my stylist was focused on getting more clients and did not pay attention to you once you came in again and again. I also felt that he was excited about his work but really just money hungry now. Curtis is a great hair dresser and i LOVED my cut that I got the first time. I went to him 3 times and got a some other work the 2nd time and then my 2nd cut the third time i went to visit. He did a cut, but forgot to do some of the other things he did last time to make my hair fall the same way it did. Also when I originally walked in, he asked who I was seeing (hello, I am his client and have been here twice before), and then basically had to look me up in the system. It was disappointing cuz you are paying a lot of money for a cut, and the beauty of this place should be to know their clients when they come in and remember their cuts! Consistency is key, and I dont think I got that when I got my cut the 2nd time. The stylist has abilities, but if you cant execute every time that makes it difficult for me to want to go back.

Worst ever mani/pedi!!! I purchased a Groupon and I was really excited because I had heard that Evolve is a really great salon. Apparently they had some beauty school drop-out do my mani-pedi. Like the last reviewer, I wish I had taken a picture of it. I couldve done a better job. Although she got me out in an hour with both a manicure and pedicure, she painted some of the skin around my nails and completely missed painting other parts of my nails. When she was pushing back my cuticles it was actually painful- definitely something a mani/pedi should not be! For the first time in my life I actually didnt tip, it just made me sick to think I wasted an hour of my life and money on a crappy job. I immediately went home and completely removed the polish. Sad experience :( If you do go to Evolve for a mani/pedi, I suggest going to someone who has more experience. Michelle is the one listed on their website who seems to have great experience and will probably be wonderful.

Being an eighteen year old girl with high expectations and picky tendencies, ive had trouble finding a salon and a hair stylist that Im happy with. I imagine ive been to over fifteen different salons, all in which in my opinion were nothing spectacular. After searching all over the net, I came across Evolve. When I saw the amazing reviews I thought "what the heck, ill give it a shot." I CANT EXPRESS HOW HAPPY I AM THAT I DID! Jessica was my hair stylist and let me just say that she is truly talented at what she does! Ive always died my hair blonde, but since im starting school as a freshman in college, I wanted to go for a "new look". I went in the salon as a blonde and came out as a dazzling brunette! The cut and color was perfect and surpassed my expecations. Jessica offered great advice and friendly conversation. The price was well worth it and I will definitely be coming back!

Do not go here for manicures or pedicures. I attended the salon for the first time with a friend with a Groupon and its the worst mani/pedi Ive ever received. The staff was courteous at first, but the entire thing they never spoke to my friend or I once. We tried to make conversation but only got one-word replies. Not to mention, the person I had was terrible. They actually cut two of my fingers, making my pinky finger bleed. They then proceeded to wipe the open wound with nail polish removed. My manicure has held up thus far, though its only the second day. The polish looks alright, but it definitely could have been done better. When my nails were cut, it was quick and without any acknowledgement that I have skin beneath them! I definitely wont be returning.

All the staff is highly trained and all the professionals at Evolve are very interested in always be updated with the latest trends of the Beauty Industry. The salon itself is so beautiful ! It is a comfortable modern setting where you are guarantee to have a relaxing time and get out with your personal style and preferences enhanced by very talented technicians ! The products Evolve carries are always the best ones in the Beauty Industry, high end refined products, gentle and good for your hair and nails. After all, this is definitely an excellent place to have all your beauty needs satisfied to a maximum !

Worst mani-pedi Ive ever had! I used the Groupon, so Im not sure if they just do a bad job on the Groupon customers or everyone...but I will not be back and will not recommend either of the nail techs I had. My nails chipped within 12 hours from just everyday use (nothing strenuous on my hands). I could have painted my own nails much better. Save yourself the time and money, dont go here! The hair stylists area of the salon looks great and spacious, but the nail area is small and cramped. The only good thing...the music in the salon was decent and lots of parking on Mass Ave.

My sister and I bought a groupon for a mani pedi. The staff was nice but the mani/pedi was terrible. It looked like a child painted our nails. They did not paint the whole nail and paint was all over my cuticles. We were also rushed so other people could be seated. The salon only had two chairs and we put our feet in buckets. This was no spa experience. It was very little lighting, i assume to hide the horrible job. I got home and removed the finger nail polish. Would not recommend this place for a mani/pedi no matter what the discount was.

I have thick, unruly hair that is naturally blonde, but greying. Luckily, I found Rachel at Evolve last summer after a year of not-so-great haircuts and color. Rachel is willing to listen and really works to make sure you like your hair and that is is appropriate for your lifestyle and personality. She is an expert when it comes to color and cutting techniques. As a salon, Evolve is clean, friendly, and hip without the attitude. They carry Davines of Italy products, which are terrific and arent that easy to find.
