Where do I start? Lauren is AMAZING. I have curly, frizzy biracial hair that I have spent 21 years trying to figure out. Ive tried serums, oils, straighteners, relaxers... everything, and Ive never been happy with my hair. When I walked out of KKBB salon today, for the first time, I felt beautiful and loved my curly hair. I havent been able to stop looking in the mirror, I cant believe my curly hair actually looks happy, healthy and GORGEOUS! Lauren greeted me right on time for my appointment and was very friendly and immediately offered me a beverage. The entire time she explained exactly what she was doing, what products she was using and why and I never questioned her for a second. I hadnt had a hair cut in five years prior to Lauren (couldnt find anyone that could cut curly hair!) and in an hour and a half, my hair went from scraggly, uneven, dry curls to bouncy, light, vivacious curls. Lauren is literally full of great ideas to make curly hair fun and they are all techniques that I feel confident that I can replicate again at home. Lauren made sure to let me know that if I had any questions at all to not hesitate to call her, which was very comforting. I left with DevaCurl No-Poo, DevaCurl One Condtion and DevaCurl Styling Cream but I didnt feel pressured at all to purchase them. They have a great 2 week 100% satisfaction guarantee where after 2 weeks, if you dont love the products you can bring them back for a refund. I feel confident I will not be returning my DevaCurl products, I really love how they smell and the way my hair looks when I use them. The entire staff at KKBB was great... very friendly and genuine receptionist and I seriously cant say enough good things about this salon. A lot of the stylists had tattoos, so people who find those offensive should probably get over it because this salon is a real gem! Today was life-changing, I feel like a beautiful whole new curly girl... Thank you so much Lauren and the rest of the KKBB staff!!!!!!!!!!

Finding a great stylist, much less an entire salon of great stylists in Indiana is like trying to find a needle in a barn full of haystacks. I thought it wasnt possible until I had my first appointment at KKBB over 4 years ago. I was skeptical on my first visit, I wasnt referred but their website was catchy so I decided to give them a try. While I was waiting, while I was being shampooed, I watched the stylists. Every person in every chair was receiving fantastic service, the cuts and colors I saw while I watched were transforming, beautiful and stylish. I still watch the stylists every time Im in the salon, not because I dont trust them but because they are stylist magicians and its amazing to see the transformations. My current stylist, Luda, is brilliant. As Ive gotten to know her, Im always floored by how much she studies and trains on styles and color. Its easy to see it is her passion to be great at what she does. At any point she knows the current trends and the trends that are coming up. Her skill set on coloring is remarkable, gorgeous and always on point. Last year, she colored my hair the fire red to golden ombre, it was stunning and I received so many compliments. She has colored my hair a sexy cherry chocolate and currently she is in the two step process of coloring my hair into a smokey charcoal. Bangs, I cant say enough about how great she cuts bangs!! She has always matched the cut I describe to the cut she gives me. She gives great advice on product and how to give your hair the salon look once youve left the shop. The salon is one of the top in the area, I recommend it to everyone I know.

This was my first hair appointment with KKBB Salon. From the moment I walked into the salon, I was treated with the utmost care and respect. Lauren greeted me right on time for my appointment and was very friendly. The entire time she explained exactly what she was doing, what products (DevaCurl) she was using and why and how to get the style I was looking for with my curls...I wish I had a before and after picture to post. Lauren "LC" knew just how to cut and get my hair the right amount of moisture. I walked in with dry/frizzy hair and walked out with soft bouncy curls! My hair looks amazing!! Having naturally curly hair it can be really difficult to find a stylist that actually understands how to work with your hair. I am so happy I called and made the appointment. For me, this salon and Lauren "LC" lived up to and exceeded their reputation! Everyone was so kind! I have already scheduled my next appointment! I will be introducing everyone I know to the salon so they can experience what I get to experience. An unstuffy, genuinely kind, artisitc, relaxing salon experience. Ladies, if you have curly hair and want your hair to look healthy, shiny, and awesome...book with Lauren "LC"! You will not be disappointed!!

I took my 9-year-old daughter here on a recommendation from a curly hair forum. We had an appointment with Lauren, and she was amazing. Lauren not only cut my daughters hair, she taught us how to take care of it so that it looks as great when we do it ourselves as it did when we went home that day. I went in expecting a hard sell on the products used, but knowing what would be used and planning on buying anyways. Instead, she showed us the products as she worked with them, pointed out a trial kit, and suggested we wait until they have a sale in July & August to get the larger bottles. No pressure to actually buy, just lots of helpful tips all around. We will definitely be returning, and I highly recommend Lauren to anyone with curly hair.

I really hate to give any business a bad review however, I read so many great reviews that I was expecting to be WOWED and I wasnt. The girl was very nice. She sat down and had a consultation with me, which I wanted. When I told her what I was looking to do with my hair she suggested something completely different. After we talked about it I thought we were on the same page to do a little of what I wanted and a little of what she suggested. She then put some oil stuff in my hair and rubbed it around for all of 5 seconds and called that a scalp massage. In the end I walked out with the same exact hair cut only shorter. Ive heard the one in Carmel is good so Ill try that one next.

I went to kiss kiss bang bang because I had heard some great things about the place from my friend. But when I went I felt uncomfortable, everybody that worked there was covered in tattoos, not that I dislike them, but Im not comfortable with people I dont relate to. The girl that was giving me my relaxer tried to tell me what was best for me, Ive had a relaxer before, I know whats best for me, but she insisted I do as she said. Luckily for you, she was fired, but I was so upset after I saw my hair I cried. And the instant I got home I washed my hair and bought extensions. I dont want anyone else to have such a horrible experience.
