I had an absolutely horrible experience with Godby. My experience was so bad that I believe the company is either completely mismanaged or is willfully ripping off customers. Savvy consumers should BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! The company came out and performed work before informing me of the issue and asking my permission then presented a bill for $500. We paid for it hoping the problem was solved. Soon after the technician left, we discovered the work did not fix the problem. We were then quoted a new price of around $1,500 to fix the problem (that included re-doing the initial work). They admitted their mistake, but refused to rectify it. We moved on to another, more honest vendor. Many months later, they re-billed us for the original $500! Every company makes mistakes, but how these mistakes are handled is what defines a company. Godby does not care about their customers. Godby represents POOR QUALITY, POOR SERVICE, HIGH COSTS, and DOUBLE BILLING. Save yourself money and a headache -- AVOID GODBY!

Godby has been my heating and plumbing company for a number of years. I believe them to be totally honest and above board with the issues I have had with an aging home. There have been several occasions when I thought I needed to replace something, and their serviceman has explained to me why that was not so and what and how much it would take to repair. I have purchased a new air conditioner and hot water heater from them and have been totally happy with both. Their serviceman noted a ground wire the builder did not connect and fixed the issue on the spot to prevent a possible fire. Overall excellent company.

I had Godby out to my home for a couple issues. They were prompt, helpful and very very great people to work with. I had a previous company look at the same problems and one issue was going to be over $300. Godby was able to fix the same issue for less than $50. Not only that, but they followed up after their visit to make sure everything was working perfectly. I would recommend Godby to anyone who needs HVAC or plumbing issues resolved. If I have an electrcial issue, I will for SURE be calling Godby. Thanks for the help.

Cant speak to service, because the customer service was so bad I cancelled my request. My initial request for service was cancelled after I changed it from emergent to next day service, they were rude the next day when I was told that the request had been cancelled, I had to give my info all 3 times as if they never entered it into their system. And on the final phone call they said their plumber was out of town and would have to called around. It actually doesnt have to be Godby.

After using several other heating and cooling companies, we decided to try Godby on the recommendation of a neighbor. Its always easy scheduling an appointment and they always call before arriving. The technicians that have been to our home have been very professional, courteous and helpful in answering any questions we have. We have not used Godbys Plumbing or Electric services as yet but wont hesitate to do so if we have problems. We would highly recommend using Godby.

Over 5 years ago, Godby installed a new furnace, a/c unit and a tankless water heater. They all have been very reliable. When we thought that we were having a problem with the a/c, they promptly dispatched a service technician. Of course we have consistently had annual service contract in which our equipment is tested and maintained. We highly recommend Godby to all our friends!!

Driver for this company with the last 3 digits on his license plate LAV for their branded truck was driving intoxicated. Nearly running multiple cars off 465. I reported it to their commercial division and got hung up on. I left a message for their residential division and reported it to the state police. I hope this driver never puts lives in danger like this again!

I have used Godby a handful of times and each experience is better than the last. They have serviced my furnace and air conditioner and installed a nest thermostat. The technicians are courteous, experienced and take time walking you through the situation. I highly recommend Godby and am happy to know if anything comes up with my home I can call them.

Nothing but praise for these guys. Called before 7 am on a Saturday with a broken furnace and a cold house. The technician Joe was courteous and thorough, not to mention early. He fixed our ancient furnace quickly. Will definitely be doing business with them in the future. Thanks!
