I have been going to Grewals for 3 years now for car services. I used to own a 97 Toyota Camry and now own a 08 Toyota Prius. My 97 Toyoto Camry had 150,000 miles on it when I bought it and I had to use that car for regular commutes from Indy to the east coast. In all, I put 50,000 miles on the 97 Camry during a 2 year period. Mr. Amreek made sure that the car was in excellent condition for me to drive long distances without the worry of breaking down in the middle of nowhere. Over the course of two years, besides routine oil changes, he performed several repairs on that car (timing belt, water pump, oil gasket, brakes, wiring, spark plugs, etc; pretty much anything except for tires and battery, which I would buy from Firestone and Walmart) and there was never a problem noted after any repair - the car would drive like a Maserati. I would feel safe driving that car on the freeways overnight because Mr. Amreek had looked at it. When I sold the car, I got what I would get for a car in very good condition (per KBB estimates). Oh, did I mention their price quotes which would typically be 25-50% less than Firestone quote for the same job? Also, he would never ask me to repair anything unless there really was a problem. In all, Grewals is highly professional car services, and Mr. Amreek is a very honest shop owner. I would highly recommend them.

I am not smart about vehicles and I bought a lemon 98 Volvo in October 2013 and was very concerned about where to take it to get it fixed up. I heard about Grewals from my mother. I brought my car in and nervously asked them if I needed a tune-up and they said my car was fine, that I only needed minor repairs on the brakes as well as a new belt. I knew I needed the belt, so I am now back for my third time and I LOVE THIS PLACE! This is my second repair and second oil change. I am a very skeptical of auto shops but Grewals will tell me why I dont need what I think I need (such as a tune-up). What auto shop does that?! Theyre wonderful! They also look over the vehicle after any services to let me know what I should expect down the road. I feel very safe and informed when I bring my car here. The waiting room is lovely with a television and a plush couch. Its very clean inside the waiting area and the mechanics are all so nice and super informative. They take the time to explain to you what they are doing and why and will not fix anything until you agree to the terms and prices. I will never go anywhere else for my auto work. This shop is dependable, clean, friendly, and comfortable. Im so glad my mother introduced me to the best shop in Indy!

I imagine that Grewals does quality work...but Im not really sure since THEY NEVER ACTUALLY WORK ON MY CAR. Twice I have come to them to do work on my car, and twice they never got around to working on it! Both times they said they would call me at a specific time for a quote and when it would be done, and both times I have had to be the one to call them half a day or a whole day later to find out whats going on! The latest issue was with a leaky brake line on my truck. I brought it in monday and they said they would call by the end of the day to let me know the exact cost and said it should easily be done Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest. So when I had to call them tuesday afternoon to find out the cost, they told me they wouldnt have it done till Friday!!!! Once again... They probably do great auto work, but it doesnt really matter if they never get around to it...

This is a dual review. The first experience that Id had here was for an oil change that I called about an hour before and they made it happen! Cant promise that every time but was a huge bonus. The interaction and the work performed were both excellent. At the end of the interaction they recommended that I get my brakes done soon which I knew and even had a price quote for me. No pressure though which I loved. My next experience was a few minutes ago when I called (once again the same day) to schedule my brake job. #1 they knew my name as they had looked it up by my phone # as he was talking to me, efficient. #2 they had the brake job estimate from my previous visit already up and could re quote me the price and all. I decided to write this before my brake work as I am that confident in the workmanship they will provide.

Grewals Automotive is the only place I will take my car. I was told I needed to replace my transmission in my 98 Honda Accord, it wouldnt shift correctly. I drove it to Grewals and Amreek and Major were very friendly. They ran diagnostics and came up with a bad solenoid...$150 repair compared to a $3300 misdiagnosis. They were very knowledgeable with the Honda, Amreek actually worked for the Honda dealer at one point. The shop was very clean, not to mention state of the art. Did I mention how nice the waiting room was? These guys will be around for a long time to come, and I will be their customer. Mark Bailey

Cars are one of those things in your life that you can’t function without and most probably takes part of your budget, and so you need an auto place that you can trust. I have been going to Grewal’s auto since 2008. Guys are very friendly and honest. They tell you what exactly need to be repair in your car without overcharging like other places. It’s very affordable, clean, and comfortable place to for car repair. I would recommend to everyone. Please visit once and you will never have to worry about your car again. Very prompt and polite. Excellent work for a fair price. I highly recommend. I had my car checked out for insurance purposes and they were very reasonable, not like the other places I checked. Im bringing it back for some more work soon. Its hard to find a place that does good work for a fair price and this is one of them.

This place has always been fair and trustworthy. I have used them since they were located in South Greenwood. The building interior and waiting room are very nice. The staff are always very friendly and patient. Ill continue to use them any chance I get. Honest service like this is very hard to find anymore unfortunately.

They are one the biggest private automotive shop in Indianapolis so they have to be doing something right. I went there for the first time for an oil change and since the experience was very good I decided to stick with them. I am now a regular customer. I would definitely recommend these guys to friends and family.
