Truck broke down had it towed to meineke in Franklin IN on a Friday after hours. Received a call of Saturday giving me the estimate. At the time it sounded high. I figured it was just high because of labor. I gave them the go ahead to do it. Called back Monday afternoon to see if it was ready and they said yes.( I drove by 3 hours earlier and it was already done, could not even call and say it was done) Showed up at meineke, paid for the truck and left. Got home looked at the receipt and was charged $400 just for an ALTERNATOR. Called to see if that was just the part or was that labor and part. Was told by TIM that was just for the part. I ask why so high for a $200 part. I know there is overhead but $200 up charge on one part? (They knew I had to pay it or pay another tow bill to have it towed somewhere else.) I was told it would be that high anywhere. I responded with thats bad business practice and I would a review on it. TIM proceeded to call me a "DI*K FACE" and hang up the phone. That brings me here. There are plenty of mechanics with a 5 mile radius that wont screw you are parts price.

Last time I was here, the assistant manager said I needed a new air filter and I asked to be shown my current one just so I knew how bad it was he then proceeded to bring me out an air filter that wasnt even mine. It wasnt the same shape at all, I even said, "thats not my air filter." The assistant manager replied, "yes it is, itll be $34.95 to put in." I said no to it and just asked for my car to get my oil change so I can leave. During checkout, the guy was a complete creep asking where Im from and how close to the store I live. I didnt even respond because of how creepy he was. Dont just expect all women dont know anything about cars, I can do quite a bit on my own and hell, I even know what my air filter looks like. I will never be going back, no matter how good the coupons are.

Nothing good to say. Had oil changed on wednesday, and drove 1200 miles on thursday. Noticed on friday it was leaking oil pretty bad underneath vehicle. Took it to dealership where they pulled the drain plug out with their fingers right in front of me. There were no threads left on the pan. Called meineke who had done ALL oil changes since we bought the vehicle. They said "that is a wear item and we are not responsible for that" They said they will not even help us out on the $455 we spent to fix the problem they were responsible for. Sad to see how their business is ran. We even offered to split the repair bill with them. Do NOT take anything there!!! They do horrible work and do not stand behind their work. Save yourself the headache.

My husband brought my car here and this place is a joke, they dont back up there work and tried giving me 90 day warranty on a brake job so my husband walk down to advanced auto in the rain bought 2 new rotors that were marked up 30 dollars from meineke plus got 2 yr warranty from Advanced auto and whats funny is the guy from Advanced auto said yeah meineke called here asking for a quote on these exact rotors. I live here in Franklin and have never heard anything good from this place. The management there is unprofessional and dont know how to treat customers. So if you want to get ripped off this is the place.

The people here are very friendly and have great customer service. However when they rotated my tires, they did something incorrect and I heard a loud noise while driving. I went to another Meineke to get it fixed. On the plus side, they are super fast. I would recommend them to anyone in Franklin who is looking to get their oil changed.

The guys at this location are always friendly and courteous. Its nice to feel like you are dealing with honest people when you have to take your car in for routine maintenance or something big thats going to cost more. Keep up the good work!

This place is nothing but a money pit. Dont waste your time. Go to Becks or Newkirks. At least they treat you right and with respect. These guys dont care about anything but your $$$$.

This place seems to do as I ask without messing anything up, never tries to oversell when my wife brings in the vehicles. One of the few chain shops I have recommended.
