This was my first time going to Rightway Automotive. I found them through an online search for auto repair facilities in and around my zip code. After evaluating a few other facilities, the reviews I read about Rightway Automotives customer service and knowledge/experience with car repairs solidified my decision to go there. My car was having some pretty big issues making grinding sound when I started the car followed by a burning smell. I called Rightway Automotive and they were able to have me bring my car in the next morning. From the very first phone call my interactions with them have been amazing. When they finished diagnosing my car, they called to give me an update and I learned that my A/C compressor pretty much "blew up" and needed to be replaced. When Bill called to tell me the bad news he was informative, friendly, compassionate and very understanding when I asked questions and even called him back trying to rationalize the costs and work that needed to be done. Car repairs are never something we look forward to and almost always carry a pretty big price tag. This was no different in my case. The bright side though is that they were willing to work to try and keep my costs as low as they could while not short changing me or my car. They not only take care of your vehicle by doing great work, they take care of you, the customer as well with exceptional customer service! Not to mention, I get a 2-year warranty and my car working like its supposed to once again! Oh, and did I mention that they actually came to get me (in my car) when the repairs were done because I didnt have a way to pick up the car when it was ready since everyone was at work? AMAZING! They have earned my business and my recommendation and although I hope I dont have to take it back in any time soon, if/when I do, Im taking it to Rightway Automotive.

4/1/16 This is NOT an April Fool joke -- Five stars to Rightway! They treat their customers very well - are honest, have fair prices, are very courteous and stand behind their work with a great guarantee. Their front office and shop are clean & well-kept. They were recommended by a friend - have been going to them for about 3 years now for routine things like oil changes and theyve done several big repairs as well for a decent price. They did it right because Ive never had to take my car back for problems with any work theyve done. They offer discount coupons to their regulars. My favorite thing about them is that as a woman, I can take my car in and they never make you feel awkward or intimidated. Always very polite to you. So ladies, I highly recommend them for just this alone! If anyone is interested in quality car care, go to Rightway - they take good care of you.

I went to Rightway on the recommendation of a friend to fix a wheel bearing issue. They took care of it that morning, knowing that I had to have my car back to make some customer calls, later that day. They also noticed that my ’09 Honda Accord was due for its 100K miles “timing belt” service. They proceeded to give me a quote, which was significantly lower than my Honda dealer. They did not apply any pressure to get this done, saying “think about it and come back if you would like us to take care of it”. I did return to get this service done, and it was finished within 1 day…also, the final cost was lower than originally quoted. Both times I was there, they were very thorough with the repairs and making sure my car was perfect before allowing me to leave. Sean & Bill are great and I will return, as well as highly recommend them in the future.

Friendly, honest and knowledgable. Believe it or not, these were not MY words to describe Rightway, it was a friend of mine on the far WESTSIDE who is in the same business as Sean and Mike. Over the weekend, I was telling him about my experience at Rightway (all of the above adjectives DO APPLY, by the way) and he said that he knew about "that repair shop" and have heard that they are, "Friendly, honest and knowledgeable" from several of his customers that have moved to his area. I was blown away. I knew that the guys at Rightway were good - but WOW! When others in your industry are hearing high praise it raises the bar throughout the industry. My wife and I are from Dayton and were heading to STL for a weekend trip. Outside of Indianapolis, our car s check engine light came on and started misfiring. Not wanting to risk being stranded we searched for the nearest 5 star mechanic and ended up here. The guys squeezed us in for a diagnostic test, and after finding the problem agreed to work on it that day. Since we were en route, they went above and beyond to help us find a rental car for the trip and agreed to meet us on Sunday (a day they are closed) on our way back home to pick up the car. Needless to say, what could have been a disaster of a trip ended up being a fantastic weekend for us. If we ever have car problems again, I hope its in Indy!

These guys are great. They pick up the phone every time you call with prompt courteous service. I loved not feeling like I was bugging someone just to get an update on my car. I took my 05 Mustang in for what I thought was just a water pump. Lucky for me, these guys do a thorough job checking the car over and discovered a leak coming from another area as well. Probably saved me blowing up my engine. Great service and great communication. Im happy I finally found a mechanic shop that I feel is trustworthy and does good work. I highly recommend them. -Nate

Took car in for a front end noise that I assumed it was a wheel bearing. Every other shop I called suggested I replaced both. They told me that would be a waste of money that I just replaced one that is needed. Call later about a little bit of vibration in the front end of another car at speed. Asked about their prices on alignment. They suggested I take it to the tire shop where I have a warranty on the tires first to make sure it wasnt a tire balance issue. Not the cheapest place but the prices are competitive and they are honest.

These guys are the best!! My car sat for the better part of a month with a check engine light on, and the fuel gauge not working for the past year. Tried/replaced everything with my mechanic of 20 years til he basically gave up. These guys thoroughly dug into the problem and fixed the problems in 3 days. Six months of stress is gone!!! After fixing our working van, for couple of time, was the turn of my little sedan to be seen by car doctor. Starting with great customer service, a ride home on the day I did drop my car off to be fixed and, finishing with inspection after the work was completed: 5 stars. During the time they worked on the car, their communication line was open, I did knew every detail about what was necessary and done. Thank you very much, once again, real car professionals!
