Where to begin? Im suing them. Thats probably a good place... A little background for context: this had to be one of the easiest moves they could possibly make... From one apartment to another within the SAME complex. I had just moved into this complex less than 6 months ago. Heres my assessment of the performance of the hourly workers: disorganized, poorly trained, left approximately 1/3 of my belongings in my apartment, no one walked through before their truck was "full". In fact, the only thing they did well was get my signature for payment... Heres my assessment of the performance of the management: completely unprofessional, know nothing of customer service. But I digress... Back to the beginning: THEY LIED TO ME. But I didnt know it then...obviously. Although I didnt know it at the time, this company lied to me, as follows: I called and said, "Hello, I had such a good experience when I used your service about 6 months ago Im using you again." After taking my basic information they said "Oh, yes! We see you in our system here. In fact were going to give you a 10% discount for using us again" *NOTE* Only after the poor experience that was nothing like my previous move and I called to discuss with the manager did I understand what happened. I called Two MEN and a Truck and they explained to me that this happens fairly often. THINK ABOUT IT: Why else would they give a repeat customer DISCOUNT to a customer that had never used their service before??? Anyway, I called the correct number and after explaining my issues the manager said he would discuss with the crew and get back with me. In the interim, he said hed send an email to me within 15-30 minutes so I could send pictures over of all the items left in my apartment. An hour and a half later, no email. So, I called back. about an hour later I got an email from some assistant. I sent the pictures to her of all the boxes full of items and things that werent moved and then called to verify receipt. I finally receive an email (not a phone call saying hey, were sorry this happened, what can we do to make this right, well send our guys over and this will be knocked out in an hour, no no no no no) they actually made it much worse by being condescending and then told me they would come back over and finish what they should have done the first time for an estimated $500-$600. For context, the move cost me approximately $350. Nice huh?? I should also mention that I have a bad back which is the reason I hired movers in the first place. Moral of the story? Never send "GUYS" to do a job that should be done by gown "MEN".

Used John Mitchell/Two Guys & a Truck just yesterday. Scheduling was hassle free. They asked the details of my move and suggested a three person team with one truck (piano move!). I wanted a T&M rate, which was not a problem and the initial estimate was dead on to how much time was needed, after I remembered the shed and patio furniture on the day of the move. Otherwise, it would have been at least an hour less. On actual move day, the team arrived 10 minutes early and ready to rock and roll. Todd, Joshua and Nate were professional and courteous. They made me tired watching them work! Everything was handled with care and loaded in the truck tied down and wrapped up in shipping blankets. They took care to put shipping blankets on hand rails and half walls to prevent damage. I know this is a really long review, but I wanted to give the next person looking at this company a full picture of my experience. To the owner, Mr. Mitchell, you have three EXCELLENT employees. This was my first time using movers, Ive always self moved, but I will definitely use your company again!

The last time we called John Mitchell Moving was in January of 2014, so its been a while. We have utilized this company for a total of four moves, I believe, so far. They have done a fabulous job each time! I would not hesitate for a moment to call them again. Some of their crew members have moved us more than once. They are a company that has figured out how to do things right. They treat their customers well, and they treat their employees well. Everyone we have dealt with has been very courteous and professional. We will be contacting them again the next time we move!

Two Guys & A Truck performed a move for me this morning. The movers arrived right on time, were very professional and carefully handled our belongings. I couldnt find any damage to our furniture or to our new home after they left. They even finished on the lower end of their time estimate! Overall it was an excellent experience. I would definitely use John Mitchell Moving / Two Guys & A Truck again!
