Everyone is very nice and helpful. However, I ended up with 1 lost box, and an antique cardboard box with 1920s glass Christmas ornaments in it damaged beyond repair. i know of 4 glass ornaments missing. These ornaments were some of ones that my parents bought for their first Christmas tree.Now they are gone forever! I paid to have packers pack up my belongings. They ran out of boxes to put my small boxes into. They promised me that when they got back to the shop, they would pack the rest of my small boxes into a larger box so that they would be protected. Didnt happen. I am also missing a box. The driver is aware that it is missing. I notified the company, havent heard anything from them. They told me that I had up to 9 months to file a claim. But I could only file 1 claim, so I had to make sure that everything was on the claim. Delivery: I set this up while I was in Florida, It was going to be a tight time frame. They were to do the estiment on Mon, pack and load and delivery was to be on Fri. I got home about 10 days later they called me wanting to make delivery on the day i was suppose to have surgery!! I ended up having to accept delivery 2 days after major spine surgery. OR I could pay to have my items placed in storage! I was not a happy camper!! I took delivery 2 days after surgery. LESSONS LEARNED: 1) Do not deal with the national hotline for scheduling. Talk directly to the company that will do the job. Otherwise, you get wrong information. 2) If they run out of boxes or whatever, make them stop and go get it. Do not accept promises that they will do this or that. It sounds ok at the time, but you will end up getting screwed. 3) Box contents. Be very descriptive. Make sure it is written on the inventory sheet. Not just PBO (packed by owner). Otherwise youll end up like me, no description of the contents. It slows them down, but it is YOUR stuff. make them accountable. This is my 3rd move by a commercial company. Something has always gotten lost, stolen or broken (if they packed glassware, or just general items that are somewhat fragile). Everyone I know that has moved using a commercial company has had some kind of loss/damage. Look out for yourself. Make you Number One.

Their claims process is a joke. We paid extra for mirrors to be moved. The mirror for our grand daughters bedroom was broken in transit. There were several items broken in transit. We took pictures of the broken mirror still in their packing and had it repaired so we didnt have broken shards of glass around. They refused to pay the repair because they didnt get to inspect it. They did not deliver 2 boxes and refused any compensation. The people who delivered to us attempted to deliver a leather couch. Not ours. We refused delivery at which time the offered to sell it to us. We refused. I wonder if the owner of the leather couch received reimbursement....Unlikely. Did I mention there is no mediation process? Their claims decisions is final. If you have the time to wait for a reputable mover, wait.

From my initial conversation with David, to the personal care conversation with my move coordinator, all the way to the delivery of my items to my new home from Ray, this team was extremely professional, dedicated, and thorough. I hired Planes to help us move our small office from Castleton to Broad Ripple in Indianapolis. They came out gave an estimate, sent over a contract, and scheduled the move. We were cramped for time and I was impressed they could give us the day we needed. They packed, loaded, and moved everything to the new location. They also, unpacked and helped us move things around in the new space. The crew did an awesome job, asked if there was anything else they could do before leaving. I would hire Planes for any moving needs in the Indianapolis area.
