I cannot say enough good things about J&B – max star review, for sure! I called them to come out and give me a quote on repairing my porch. I had noticed a week or so before that the roof of my porch was leaning rather precariously and I was not sure why, so I called them to assess it and quote me on either a full repair or just getting it back together. They came out within a few days of my calling with two guys, one (Terry) who is a brilliant organizer and knows everything about anything and another (Hollis) who was amazingly knowledgeable about the roof and gutters and overall structural repair needs. They assessed the porch, realized that what was happening was that the last time the porch had been redone (at least 10 years prior) that whomever had done it (not them!) had decided to put the posts of the porch leaning right on the thin fascia with no joints supporting it. It was basically a miracle that it had held together as long as it had! Now, keep in mind, this was just an assessment and quote – I hadn’t hired them yet or talked price. They refused to leave the porch as is, and immediately went to Home Depot to buy some wood for proper support so that the porch didn’t fall down around me while I waited on quotes. They never charged me for this – they insisted that it was for safety and they couldn’t let something like this go. I was so impressed at their professionalism. Now, I did get other quotes, despite this – but J&B came in with their quote as very close to the lowest and were willing to negotiate and make timelines work. I chose them for the repair, and I have no regrets about this. My porch looks absolutely stellar, and it was done on time and on budget – such a rare thing to be able to say about contractors!! They are also very, very communicative. Any questions I had I could email or call Terry and he would get back to me within an hour (max 24 hours). It was amazing. I have another repair to the house coming up and I wouldn’t call anyone else – these guys are the best, and I recommend them to everyone I meet!

I had three buildings to roof and they did all of them in one day. I left for work with an old roof and by the time I got home, all my buildings had new roofs. Everything was left very clean, there were no ruts in my yard from equipment. Everyone I interacted with was very nice and professional. They did the work within two weeks of our agreement. As for cost, they actually came in under what I was thinking. Great experience and of course my home looks so much nicer now

These guys are a Ripoff!Scam artists. They say they do the work they are paid to do but then you find out later when you have REAL contractors come in to do some work they find the terrible mess these guys left behind. I would steer clear away from these guys!!! BUYER BEWARE! My family learned the hard way :(
