I have to say Im very disappointed in my brief experience with Universal. I live in West Carmel. Our neighborhood was impacted by a hail storm in late April, so the roofing business has been very busy ever since. I got a couple of estimates from less known companies but I wanted to try Universal since I heard very good things from my neighbors. Ive been following up to get an estimate from them without success. My guess is that they are too busy and dont want my business. Where they drop the ball is when they do not call to even say "sorry, this is taking longer than expected". Or anything else. They say the first impression last long... well, this one wasnt a good one.

We HAD a shake roof, then it became a Part of a shake roof - we were the neighborhood feeder for raccoons. We called Universal, talked to Rob Yeary and he helped up choose the right roofing in the right color and we couldnt be happier. The house looks almost has that newer younger look, like when it was built. His crew came in ripped off the shakes, fixed any areas that needed fixing and then put on the new roof. They were very respectful of the landscaping and before they left for the day they did a nail sweep - I was very impressed. If we ever need a new roof, which will only happen if we move, this is who Ill call.

Universal used a high quality product; GAF roofing, and a superior installation process. The support from their office and sales staff was top rate too. They were recommended to me by a co-worker, and after dealing with two other roofing contractors, Universal was the best. Id do business with them again.

They did a great job installing the roof. Very professional and knowledgeable. The biggest value given to me was helping fight the insurance co. That was trying to get out of paying for the roof. Recommend to anyone.

Had them replace a roof two years ago. They worked with my insurance, did a great job and their crew was very fast. The roof held up to the heavy winds this last year with no issues.

Very unprofessional. They did not send me the estimate even though I called them multiple times. They do not respond to calls either. Would never call for another project.
