I had just found my BMW 335i after about a year of scouring the country and had owned if for no more than 2 months when I was broadsided by my coworker in the work parking lot. Both drivers side doors were destroyed and the rocker panel had some significant dents from metal portions of the door during impact. No injuries except to my pride and ride. Anyway, repair process was facilitated through a local progressive service center and car was delivered to Performance Collision Center during week of Christmas. From my initial contact with Performance I was treated cordially and respectfully. I was walked through the entire process covering the scope of damage, the parts needed, the physical body/paint repairs, and was updated at least once per week until completion. When I first saw the car after only a few short weeks, I couldnt believe how well the repairs were executed and could find no trouble areas. I am no paint and body expert, but have worked on many smaller automotive projects to know that it requires great skill, patience, and an eye for details. The color match is spot on and the paint texture matches the rest of the original paint/clear coat. Also, the factory VIN data tag located on the rocker panel had to be removed as part of the repair process, and when I noticed it was missing at pick up, I made a quick trip in to talk to the manager and was told it would be taken care of. After a week or so, I received a call that the replacement tag was in and they would be mailing it directly to me. After some quick research, these tags can cost in excess of $100 and arent always readily available. One could argue the mantra at Performance Collision is "Treat the customer how you would like to be treated" or "Put the customer first, and the rest will follow." Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the entire process and the people/staff involved. I dont hesitate recommending Performance to any friend, family, coworker, acquaintance, stranger so long as they keep the same focus on customer satisfaction and overall management.

I dropped off my truck on 7/6 for a repair job that the repair quote states 18 days. A couple of weeks later, they informed me that the completion date would be 8/3. August 3rd came and they said it got push back to 8/6. Now, 8/6 they said it got push back again to 8/11. How many more times will they push back the completion date? I dont know, who knows? What I do know is that Ive gone pass the 30 days rental car coverage on my insurance policy. Now, I have to pay for the rental out of pocket and theyve denied any assistance with the rental. This is no way to do business and not how to treat customers. I always have to call to get update on the repair, no one keeps me in the loop. There are many other body shops in the area and I wish Id have chose a different one. They will never get anymore business from me or anyone I know. Update: I stopped by the shop and meet with the shop managers. They were real sincere in explaining to me why the repair takes so long to complete. It took six days for Geico to come out to approve the supplemental estimate before they can order parts to start the repair. The parts they were told to order by Geico didnt fit right so they had to send them back, order different parts. The new used parts didnt fit right again so they ordered again. They repaired the truck bed instead of cutting off the damaged half and weld on a used one, per Geicos instruction, which would fit right. The shop manager also offered to pick up the tab on my rental from 8/6 until my truck is fixed. Thank you for doing the right thing.

I recently had the opportunity to work with Rich Pedigo and his team at Performance Collision Center. Considering the circumstance for me being there, it was a great experience. I wrecked my vehicle and took it to another body shop on the northeast side of Indianapolis. The damage on the vehicle was extreme. The quote they gave me was just under what would have been considered a total. I asked them if they would find more damage digging into it and if so I would like that done before they decided just to fix it. They said back to me “we are in the business of fixing vehicle and totally them.” Right there I knew I took my vehicle to the wrong place. I got a second estimate from Rich and his team and what a difference. Rich told me he was in the business of doing what was right for the customer. I felt so much better. Once they started looking in to the damage on the vehicle it was clear to them that it would cost way too much to fix this vehicle and they should just total it. They also knew that it would never ber the same. Rich worked with the insurance company and took care of everything. I didn’t have to do anything or worry about anything. I knew it was all going to be taken care of the right way. Rich isn’t out for a quick buck. I don’t plan on getting in another accident but if I do I will be taking my vehicle to Performance. Rich thanks to you and your team. You really know how to make someone feel heard, and your actions back it up.

Cost about $1200 to fix 3 tiny scratches on one door (about 1 to 2 inches long and a couple of millimeters wide) and 1 needle sized dot on the rear corner panel on the same side as the door. These 4 tiny scratches were caused by a tiny flying rock on high way. New paint work done by this center has a few lines that look like scratches and two bulges. The lady that was asked to take a look was very rude. She kept on emphasizing that the bulges are COMMON and new cars have it too. She also tried to claim that those lines were there before the repaint work even though the repair quote was to repaint the entire door. She did take the car back into the shop to get those lines and bulges polished. The car (3 months old which was why I am going through the trouble to get it repainted for tiny scratches) looks much better after the polishing. The lady from this center was very rude and not consistent with her stories. It was just imperfections in their paint work that need a little polishing. She should have just taken the car back immediately for polishing in stead of arguing with me for reasons that I do not understand.

2014 mazda 5 2500 miles, 3 months old. shop was given my car by progressive insurance to pdr some hail damage in June 2014. hail repair was good, however the shop broke the headliner in 10 places. in addition to this, the roof leaked horribly due to broken roof rails from the repair process and a sun visor that was reinstalled by running self-tapping screws through sheet metal inches away from the actual mounting point. returned vehicle to progressive, who immediately returned it to this shop despite my pleading that they send it somewhere else. 5 weeks later, I received the vehicle again with a new broken headliner, roof rails that were repaired using epoxy and silicone instead of replacing them, a non-functional roof entertainment system, interior panels that were warped and twisted during installation, and 2 missing rear trim panels. weeks later, the vehicle developed another leak over the second-row passenger seat. progressive resolved the issue by refunding my deductible, which covered only a new headliner at wholesale. I have documentation and photos covering this entire process, should this be disputed by the shop or anyone else.
