Always heard great things about the experience people have had in this place. Was told to come here by a friend who told me to ask for Jay. He was not available. However I am not sure why. I came in for a mani and pedi, waited for what seemed like eternity. (35 minutes) During this time I sat and observed at least 7 workers and only 2 licensed nail techs.(Look on the wall and you can clearly see) 3 of the seven could not understand English, 2 of which looked like they needed to be in High School. Pedicure- Water was cold, over priced, rushed, and had a polish job that a second grader could have done better. Whole pedicure took 20 minutes, and oil was used to stretch the premium products which is cheap. The worst 30 second leg rub ever. Keep in mind this pedicure cost 45 dollars. Manicure- Basic manicure with cut up cuticles. Scary part was that the tools used were dirty. Again polish could have been better. I am not sure what my friend was thinking referring me here. I will not be back. Also, as I sat here it came to my attention that the employee is no longer here that I was looking for. As I listened to another customer discouraged with her experience today apparently this place does not know how to treat anyone lately.

I read all the reviews that this place had been given. And the negative ones.....you people are absolutely crazy!! Youre going in to a place to get your nails done. And if you have to wait 10 mins while the technician finishes the current client they are assisting then be patient and let them finish!! When you make an appt to see a doctor at 1230 and they dont get you in for a half hour AFTER your appt, do you storm out of there in a huff and vow to never go back??! I guarantee you dont do that! That would be absurd and crazy! Sometimes people walk in or a previous appt takes a little longer. Thank goodness you guys dont come back here cause that means the people who appreciate the technicians can focus on us The people there are more than accommodating for what I need. Plus they offer free drinks!! Wine, pop, or water. They always do a fabulous job on my nails and if one breaks or the paint chips or peels they fix it for free if you go back and let them know. So please. Take your business elsewhere and be snotty somewhere else. Ill keep coming to this place because I LOVE IT! thank you to Tina for always getting me in at my scheduled time or if I walk in fitting me in!

Terrible experience. I wanted just a simple French manicure. The lady doing my nails kept going on and on about how regular nail polish doesnt last long. Then she proceeded to give my fake nails and I nicely put that to a stop. After that she convinced me to get a shellac, and I agreed to it. She told me it would last 3-4 weeks. This was my first time doing shellac and she was so rude when I asked how long I needed my hands under the drier. She made it look as if I was stupid. The customer next to me noticed and said "its okay I didnt know what to do the first time either". The employee was so rude that another customer noticed. My nails started peeling after day 4 and were completely off by day 6. My nails are so gross now. I will NEVER go here again or recommend to anyone. Very disappointed .

The salon is clean and comfortable. Very accommodating and they have a huge selection of polish colors and gel colors as well--more than most salons. They offer several different types of pedicures at different price ranges. I have had several different techs do my nails here (I usually have acrylic nails with gel color) and they all do a great job and the nails look good for several weeks at least. All the nail techs and most of the pedicure techs are easy to understand and all are very friendly. Highly recommend this salon. They do not take tips on debit card though--only cash.

Went in last Saturday for a pedicure, was a horrible experience. My friend and I went in together, she sat in cold water for over an hour before they even started on her and the guy who did hers complained the whole time. I paid an extra 10 bucks for the deluxe package, not really sure what the extra was...I didnt get my feet scrubbed enough even to remove the dry skin! I did get some gel stuff rubbed on my legs, but not the massage you usually get. I have never been so disappointed in a pedi before! Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone and if I could give zero stars I would!

Great experience! It was my first time here, and they were swamped with customers (Im assuming because others have realized how great they are!) The facility is brand new and very clean and all the employees were very friendly. Prices were a little higher than Ive previously experienced, but well worth it for the friendly atmostphere and customer service-$74 for a nicer pedicure and shellac mani. Tom and Tina helped me, and both were fabulous. I will definitely be returning! Would recommend an appointment.

Went in for a pedicure was told to come back in 45 minutes, which I did. When I came in I told the same lady I was back. She just looked at me and went back to doing someones nails. My daughter and I just stood there for 10 minutes, absolutely NOBODY talked to us. We decided to leave and I will never go back. Anyone asks me and I will also tell them to never go there. I stopped there because someone recommended the place to me, very disappointed. If I could give a negative number I would!

Ive been here a couple times to get a pedicure and have had an awesome experience every time. Sophia, Kevin, and Steven (I believe are their names) are all who I had have the pleasure of working on my toes and their customer service is exceptional. The salon is clean, bright, and welcoming and Im always very happy with how my nails look afterward. I dont get my nails done very often but I have been so pleased with this place on the few occasions I have been and would highly recommend it!

Horrible experience. Wanted a French manicure and the person I had did a terrible job. Never ever had such a bad experience in a nail salon. And, in between my pedi and mani, he went out to have a smoke and when he started my mani I had to hold my breath because the smoke smell was so bad. Questioning if he washed his hands after smoking before touching mine.. :( then, when I was paying he ASKED me for a tip....so unprofessional.

Walked in and was told to come back in 30 minutes, which we did. Got a shellac manicure in 10 min... he didnt give a hand massage and did not take his time! The staff was very rude, pushy, and the place is very dirty! When we went to check out the employee asked the customer in front of us for more of a tip than what she already got ($4)!! 10/10 would NOT recommend... will never go back!! Worst place to go in Ames!
