I had a very bad experience at the Great Clips on Grand Ave. (see their reviews) but Mindy at the Lincoln Center location was able to fix the severely uneven haircut that Id received from Ronette and save the day. She spent time talking with me about the options and told me everything she was going to do before she started cutting. She had to cut quite a bit to even things up but it turned out really well and Ive received several compliments on my new hairstyle. I will always be grateful to Mindy for helping me look my best for my interview and cant recommend her highly enough.

Steer clear from this place if you dont want your hair butchered. I walked right in, sat right down (for a 45 minute wait) and had my hair massacred by a so-called stylist who was more concerned with getting off her shift than whether my hair looked at least decent. My hair looks terrible- I asked for all one length and it is so many different lengths youd swear I asked for layers. One side of my hair is noticeably longer than the other side. It was a terrible experience and now I have to pay even more to find somewhere else to fix my chopped-up hair.

It was pricey for just a haircut, wash and blow dry they charge almost $20. The lady that did my hair was the cachier at the time. She seemed unexperienced. When blowdrying my hair she used a comb instead of a round brush. My hair ended up partly wet, not styled but at least better than what it was. If you want quick attendance and are looking for nothing fashionable or styled I would say come here. At least they send you a $7.99 haircut coupon on the mail after a few weeks.

I went in and asked for a specific hairstyle showed the stylist my picture and she had to ask for help, I also had to tell her how to cut my hair, and she still got it wrong. I now have to spend over $50 dollars at another salon to fix it!!! She was very rough on my head and neck while combing my hair , I had to grab a hold of the chair for stabilization. Never again will i step foot in that place again!!!!

Haircut wasnt too bad, but probably wont be back, just because the customer service was suspect. I needed a stylist who was good at doing points, specifically on black peoples hair. The girl kinda got an attitude with me and talked to me in a way I didnt really appreciate, but said she would put me with a stylist that is good at points. Not sure if she was just putting me with a black stylist though.

My boyfriend went in today to get his haircut for drill this weekend. For the most part, youd still think he hadnt had his hair cut in a month. She barely took anything off on the top and the fade is uneven from one side to another. Plus she took one sideburn down to stubble and left the other untouched. $15 is a rip-off for such a shoddy haircut. A toddler could do better.

Checked in online and was told it would be a 7 minuet wait. I walked in a few minutes later and barely had to wait 5 minutes. Breanna was my stylest she cut my hair quickly and it looks great! Love this salon great workers and great overall experiance I would def go back here for a hair cut!

This place can range from 1-4 stars pretty easily depending on who you get service from. This can be caused by unfriendly nature of stylist or just that they plainly put, should not be cutting hair. On the other hand a coupe stylists are phenomenal but the cannot make up for the others.

The worst Hair salon in ames. My hair ended lika a bald person and then they say it was in our system. It looked like the girl cutting my hair was in a hurry, just butchered my hair. Maybe their aim is to just earn money quickly, no sense of customer satisfaction and no skills at all.

Susan cut most of my hair with one hand, and the lack of effort was apparent in the final product. In addition to this Susan seemed disinterested and distant the entire time, which arent qualities I want in someone handling scissors near my face. I am unhappy with the service.

I loved how good Ashley was at understanding what I wanted for my hair. She cut it with professionalism and kindness. After not cutting my long hair for months, I was afraid but Ashley truly did an amazing job at giving me the right hairstyle. Would definitely recommend.

They destroyed my hair. The older lady that works there is a terribly hair cutter and can screw up even the simplest of haircuts. She also doesnt know how to measure. Terrible place, terrible hair cutters.

Mediocre haircut, expensive (18 dollars for a buzz cut) and my coat was stolen off the front rack while I was there. Go to sports clip and at least get a massage with the over priced hair cut.

They do a great job, and sometimes offer to wash your hair for free if your super friendly. I recommend this place...but avoid mid-day on weekends. It can be busy at times.

In for a quick military cut. Only a 5 minute wait for a walk in. Received a great cut along with funny conversation.. Who knew baby eagles could snatch up babies!
