Steamway Ames did my carpets on a rental I lived in West Ames for 2.5 years. Even though I was clean resident, I was required to have the carpets done professionally upon my exit from the lease. I called Steamway and they sent out a guy within a week at a medium price by local standards. What I did not expect was the professionalism of the worker, and the high quality results. They sent out some guy who really knew his stuff and did a fantastic job. The floors were better than when I moved in. My (now-EX) landlord, who was quite particular, asked me who did the floors because he was impressed. I dont work for them or even remember their names but give them a high rating because of the quality of what they do and how they deal with people. Not the cheapest, nowhere near the most expensive, but possibly the best floor people around.

We have hired Steamway Craftsmen for three different jobs over the past five years. Initially cleaned our ductwork in our home to remove sawdust from prior owners workshop. Expertly done. Next they cleaned a dry vent that was packed with lint for the entire length of the pipe, again expertly done to perfection. Most recent work was the clean up of water from a broken water line in our lower level. Arrived in one hour to begin the clean up of carpet and pad and drying out the flooring. After three days of drying the house looks like it was never flooded. Perfection in every detail to restore our lower level to "like new" condition. Highly recommend Steamway for all of your cleaning needs. They are the first and only number I call.

The technicians that came to my house were Jerry and Mike. I just wanted to tell you that you could NOT have had two more professional and friendly people represent your company.
