The wash does a fair enough job, but there is no attendant on site to resolve issues and Ive yet to get a callback for messages left the number posted at the wash. The first time I used the wash, I paid with a $10 and $5 bill to pay for the $12 wash. A receipt was printed for the $3 difference. I took the receipt to caseys and was told they couldnt refund it because its not part of the store. So I then left several messages to find out how to redeem the refund ticket but after several calls with no return, I gave up... After all its only $3. This past weekend we thought wed give it another try. This time I chose the $9 wash and brought exact change to avoid the problem Id had before. After putting the money in the machine, it only recognized $8 of it and would not accept change for the other dollar. Reluctantly, I chose the "print refund receipt" option, it said it was printing but apparently the printer was out of paper. If there hadnt been cars behind me, I would he just went elsewhere. Instead I ended up using my debit card to buy a wash. I called the posted number from the lot. I have now left 2 messages requesting a callback to find out how to get my $9 refunded with no return calls. Its really unfortunate that there is never an attendant available, if there were some customer service available it would be a decent wash.

Ive been pleased with the Sudsational Auto Wash in Ames every time I visit. Youll have the occasional bay being down for maintenance, but it is maintained well and issues are fixed quickly. The owners do an excellent job responding to phone calls and e-mails, and make themselves available to fix any issues you may have. All in all, a great experience, good car wash that works every time, and in a convenient easy to find location. Its also always clean and well-maintained, landscaped well, and the building itself looks fairly nice, matching the generally upscale feel of the neighborhood its in.

I ran my white Lexus through the soft touch $10 car wash. It came out covered with brown stains that were not water soluble! I spent an entire hour removing the stains, inch by inch, with a bug and tar remover. I know the stains were not there before I used the car wash, because I had inspected it when I removed bugs from the front bumper, grill and outside mirrors. The stains covered the hood, drivers side, trunk and roof. This is my second negative experience with this car wash, and I will NEVER patronize it again!!

I HAVE USED THIS WASH SINCE IT OPENED AS I COULD NOT FIND A TRULY "SPOT FREE RINSE" ON OUR BLACK CARS. THIS WASH SEEMS TO HAVE A GOOD ONE. THEY HAVE A VALUE CARD AVAILABLE THAT CANT BE BEAT. I WOULD ENCOURAGE ANYONE WHO TAKES PRIDE IN THEIR VEHICLES TO GIVE THIS WASH A TRY. OH, ONE MORE THING, THEY ARE VERY NICE PEOPLE AND ENCOURAGE YOUR COMMENTS........

One star, deserves zero stars! WARNING: if you put $20 bill in slot for wash, instead of change you get a piece of paper saying, get refund from attendant. Guess what? No attendants!!!! Thankfully Caseys gave a cash refund and they dont even own the car wash. Caseys said they get complaints all the time from car wash patrons.

I always go to this car wash since I think it is better than the others in Ames. I only wish in the manual wash they had an air dryer to dry the car.

It got the top of my car very clean but didnt even touch the front bumper. This wash might be fine for some models of car, but apparently not a Prius.
