WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I went last Wed, Sep 16, 2015 to have my carpets done it was a bright beautiful day and was asked to make an appointment which I did for the next day at 1:30. It was a a rainy day but I wanted the interior done. got home I opened the car doors to let it dry but at 2300 I was at the car wash vacuuming water out of my car. When you pressed the seats & the floor there was water coming up in between my fingers. I have used 3 buckets of damp rid & today Monday, Sep 21, 2015 my seats, floor and seat belt are still damp. She asked me three times if I left my windows down while it was raining. SERIOUSLY? I spent $109 tipped $45 and you asked if I would leave my windows open while it rained. I will not be doing business here. She (manager/owner) didnt offer to make it right, instead insinuated that I would leave my windows down during a rain storm. Admit that your extractor was not working properly.

Took my SUV there for the #3 wash (the most expensive) and I doubt Ill be returning. We were offered no instruction on where to take the car after we paid, and after I got home, I debated taking my car back out to have a different business wash it again. There was a large amount of soap left under and around the rear door, which I ended up wiping up myself because I didnt want to leave soap sitting on it. There was still dirt left on the back end. I watched the car in front of me get the inside of the doors wiped down, but because it was busy my vehicle did not get the same treatment. Overall, unorganized and mediocre work.

There were some good things and some bad things. The staff greeted me promptly. they were knowledgeable and very friendly. I came in because I couldnt do the job myself nor did I have the time. They did GREAT on getting me in and out. BUT, there was still dust on my dash board, under my seats was not even touched with the vacuum and the car cold have been run through the wash again because it was still dusty outside. cost was $50 and some change. LIke I said...some good, some bad. Mister Car wash is much better for more time and more expensive though.

Just had my SUV detailed at the Ankeny Auto Spa. Was a GREAT experience. The guy who talked to me about their services was very knowledgeable and handled my questions professionally. I was offered transportation to work while my car was being detailed. Didnt need to take them up on it, but nice to know I have that option in the future. I had an interior and exterior package done to my vehicle and couldnt find fault ANYWHERE! They definitely went above and beyond my expectations, AND they were done 30 minutes earlier than estimated! THANKS!

Biggest waste of money for a car wash!!! I wish I would have read the reviews before going. I spent $16 for the #3. The tires and rims were supposed to be cleaned. The tires werent even cleaned and the rims looked worse than before taking it there. They were hazier than before having it cleaned. I will definitely not be using this car wash again. Pretty pathetic that after you spend $16.00 that you have to spend your time to make your vehicle look nice after you get home.

Very poor... I did the most advance auto wash available $13.50 and it looks worse than if I went and did a $5 car wash... Rims were still dirty, body or car still had dirt on it... Underwash was about useless and car wash was extremely outdated... Never been to such a bad car wash... Stay away and save your money.. you can do better with a garden hose.. SIMPLY THE WORST ... Good luck viewing the website on your phone... O wait you cant

Dissapointed. I bought a groupon deal for an interior and exterior car cleaning, and even upgraded to the highest package. While the service was prompt and refreshing, the work done on my car was completely laughable. They didnt wipe down ANYTHING on the inside of my car, which was even included in the lowest price point setting, and my wheels were still completely dirty. Would never go there again, nor recommend it to anyone else.

The two main kids that helped seemed pretty nice, the old bald guy didnt know if he wanted me to go left more or right more then annoyed he couldnt tell. 1 star though is because the truck was filthy after pulling away, with soap all over my truck. Bugs everywhere still horrible and wont return.

Just left there...paid $30 for an interior/exterior wash/vacuum. There are still cheez-it crumbs on the back seat and crumbs everywhere! NOTHING got wiped down on the interior. I will NEVER go back. Only young kids working there with no supervision. I wish I could post pictures, what a joke!

Just wanted to thank everyone for the reviews! Looked this place up to see the hours and pricing, found out their site isnt mobile compatible and got a chance to read all of these reviews instead. Its a nice enough day, Ill skip the headache from this company and just detail my SUV myself.

Great place! Expect to take around 20 minutes for a maintenance clean, which is fine, they do a great job. They will vacuum, dust, and do the inside of your windows with an outside wash all for fairly cheap.

The interior vacuum was hit and miss. When I pulled up, the kids did not want to get out of their lawn chairs and the tire shine they applied looks like the poured the bottle on the tires. Very disappointed

Ive always had great service at Ankeny Auto Spa. I like to get the full service car wash (interior & exterior). I enjoy a free coffee while I wait. It never takes too long and the staff are always pleasant.

They worked fast, but I was disappointed with the vacuum cleaning of the interior. There is still dirt under the seats and on the side of the seats and they didnt even open the trunk to vacuum it!!

They have been very good. They completed my car but were not satisfied so they vacuumed it again without me even asking. I think that is good service.

Just got done with wash awesome job!!! Who new car washes still wipe down and towel dry cars. I will be back

Didnt get all the dirt off the exterior. Didnt get it dry. For $17 didnt even clean the floor mats.
