I had a horrible experience. I had someone out to do an estimate for me with installing a utility sink. When the guy was out he quoted me $220, listing off prices for the equipment. He said he would email me when he got back into the office (this was a Friday). Next Wednesday I got the quote, for $590. I questioned and he said that he was just quoting me part of the pricing not the whole thing. Why would you say anything at all unless youre going to say the actual price? His estimate was about 10% lower than the other two competitors I had out after him so I decided to schedule something. The appointment was scheduled for 8am on Wednesday 7/22. I took the day off work so I could be home for the appointment. 9:30am rolls around with no one here so I called H&H plumbing. The person at the desk tells me that I never confirmed the appointment so it wasnt scheduled. Here is the actual text from the last email from H&H confirming my appointment: H&H - Yes, I have an opening Wednesday morning at 8am. I will put it in the schedule now. I dont know how you could possibly not conclude from that email that I am scheduled. Im told they cannot come out today. They will not be keeping my business unless they do.

They installed a new water heater for us. I did like that they didnt charge for their initial diagnosis, unlike other companies around town that wil charge you $70 just for coming over. I think the only thing they could have done better is given us an option of a variety of water heaters. They pretty much just offered the regular and high efficiency (is there an even higher efficiency option if we wanted to pay more?). They did a good job, though. Would recommend.

H&H helped me through an unfortunately lengthy repair process, all of which had to do with delays from a home warranty company replacing a tankless water heater. H&H was never the bottleneck in the process. I met 3 technicians and talked to their owner during the process. Down-to-earth guys that really do demonstrate a great depth of experience and wisdom in the trade. If I need their services in the future, I wouldnt hesitate to give them a call.

My experience with H&H Plumbing has been superb. Everyone is courteous and they do amazing, excellent work. Today I had Tony L. come out and fix my bathroom sink and he not only fixed very quickly but gave me tips on how to keep it from clogging up again. I am very satisfied with there work and the people they employ are courteous and knowledgeable. I have called other plumbing companies in the past, never again only H&H Plumbing for us.

Dirt work. Called H&H after seeing them doing work at a neighbors house. Called them to do some dirt work for me. They came the same day to look at the job. Got me in to their schedule right away. Arrived on time to do the work. Did a great job with the work I asked. I call them again for work in the future. I would recommend them.

Jeremy L., our most recent technician, was knowledgeable and fit us in with very little notice. I have used H & H since moving to the area and would recommend them to anyone in the Des Moines area!
