Awful service!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND URBANDALE AUTO BODY SHOP!! I initially brought my car in for an estimate (usually a quick 15 minute task) and he didn’t feel like looking at it at the time so he told me to leave it there and he’d look at it the next day. So I told him to call me once he decided what he was going to do with it and what it was going to cost (this was on Friday), and his response was, “Well if you don’t hear from me by Wednesday at noon, then you call me.” That is absolutely TERRIBLE customer service!! I didn’t hear from him because he never once called me back when he said he would. He then told me that he would call me on Friday after taking another look at my car- again I never heard from him and when I tried to call there was no answer (and they don’t even have an answering machine for me to leave a message). He had my car for over a week before he even looked at it to do anything, and I had to continually call him to find out what was going on with my car- meanwhile I had a rental car while my car was just sitting at his shop not getting worked on. They are also obviously "in the pocket" with American Family Insurance Company that was paying for my car to be fixed because he told me that even though my safety bar in my car door was bent he didnt need to replace the door because that would just be an unnecessary expense- but I told him that I wanted my car exactly how it was before I got hit and he still said it was unnecessary to replace a door with a bent SAFETY bar. A different auto body shop told me that a bent safety bar is not structurally sound and not safe to be on the road with. Even after Id decided to come and pick up my car to take it to a different auto body shop he would not call me back at times when he told me he would call me and he would not answer the phone when I called even at times that he said he would be there. After I told him that I wanted to take the car somewhere else and I wanted him to be sure to call me before he did anything to my car, he had one of his workers come in on Monday morning at 7:45am to take my car apart even though I specifically told him to call me and ask before he did any work on my car. Terrible, terrible customer service. Only go to Urbandale Auto Body if you want to waste your time and money.

My dad worked here for over 20 years and I wouldnt trust anyone else to repair my vehicles. I brought in my 2016 Chevy Spark that needed some repairs after another car backed into it. Ryan and the guys had my car done in half the time they said it would take, the paint matches perfectly, and you cant tell it was ever damaged. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing work done on their car by people who love what they do and it shows in their work... Thank you so much Ryan!

This place is terrible. From taking 4 days longer than promised to fix a minor issue, to consistently not return phone calls, to "wrongly ordering parts." If you are interested in getting a timely, professional repair look somewhere else. Service here is terrible. They will constantly tell you "one more day" and "it should be done tomorrow" only to not answer your call when you try to check on the progress.

Ryan helped us with our truck that had been in a wreck and repaired it to look as good as new. Their team did a great job and were done a day early. This is the second vehicle they have repaired for us in the last few years and have always exceeded our expectations! I recommend them to everyone who has a vehicle in need of repair.

I took my Cobra in to UABS a few years ago to get a minor tail light incident fixed. They did a great job. The car has been in storage since then and recently after getting it out I found a minor issue. They took me in the next day and made the adjustment without additional cost. Who does that anymore? Well, they did. Outstanding.

needed a bumper fixed, my dealership said the whole thing would have to be replaced. took it here and not only did they they say it WOULDNT have to be replaced but was actually able to repair it with a minor fix..........AT NO COST!! Excellent service. will take my business back there again.
