They ruined my yellow Frye leather purse when I took it in to get chocolate out of the lining. Any leather product, they send to a store in Kansas City for cleaning. I emphasized that they please not do anything to the leather, that only the lining needed cleaned. When I got the purse back a month later, it was obvious they had put some type of polish or cleaning solution that clashed with the original color and the strap that I kept. When I pointed it out, In The Bag sent it back to Kansas City. Another month later, I got the purse, even more covered with mis-matched artificial-looking color, not the deep patina that it used to be. Also, the brass rings and buckles had turned green, and there is yellow color on the lining. The manager of the store argued with me that it looked any different and said there was nothing they could do. The way I see it, I lost a $400 leather purse to this company and got nothing in the way of compensation.
