I use to get facials here on a regular basis and they were always okay. I kept returning because I was too lazy to research other places in the area that could do facials on my budget. The last time I went in I sat waiting for over 30 minutes after my scheduled time. When she did come to get me she didnt apologize or offer an explanation. She led me to the room and told me to get on the table, but the middle of the table was raised much higher than either end and I told her it looked broken. She said it was fine so ignorantly I climbed on and it collapsed immediately which resulted in me falling and hitting my head hard on the chair next to the table. She left me in the room to get her boss and was gone for 5 minutes. The boss apologized and said theyd put me in another room so I sat by myself and waited 10 minutes until they lead me to the other room. After about 10 minutes I heard the door open so I opened my eyes the boss was mouthing the words hurry up and motioning with her hands for her to hurry up. Then she sprayed some toner on my face and declared, "You are all done!" in a cheery tone. I walked out with my face dripping wet. After starting me so late, hitting my head, and only giving me a 10 minute facial when I scheduled 60 minutes I had to pay full price. They didnt apologize or offer me a discount or anything. Ive worked in customer service for 10+ years and I understand mistakes will happen and a true test of a business is if they are willing to admit their mistakes and make it right with their customers.

I booked an "express manicure" appointment for myself and another person, back to back at 4:30 and 5:00. At 5:15, the nail tech was still removing my nail polish. My friend ended up leaving because she had to be somewhere, and my shellac application took until 6:15! Thats not even the worst part. The polish looked like a toddler applied it, and several of my nails had naked slivers of bare nail on either edge of them. The nail tech struggled with the white tips and she tore off a piece of white copy paper to use as a guide to apply the tip to the top of them. She blamed it on the short length of my nails. They were still tacky and mushy when I left the place and the nail tech didnt seem to notice anything wrong with them. Her name was Angela, and she was new to the salon (having worked there less than a week), although she touted working at other salons in San Diego and Honolulu previously. She also told me her sister-in-law had previously struggled with an addiction to meth. (?!) I was so stunned and honestly put off by it when I left, that I just paid my bill and got out of there. I will never go back. I made an appointment with another salon the following day and got them done the right way.

I am a Lightning Girl for the Wichita Thunder and have had the pleasure of having Salon Knotty as a hair sponsor for the past four years. The folks there are always extremely kind and accomodating. They always offer beverages when you come in to your appointment. They will work very hard to ensure you leave with what you wanted. (They even do that for me when they only get paid tips for our sponsorship!) At other salons, there is high turnover, but that is not the case here. That says something to me. This place has given me the best hair experiences of my life!

I went to Salon Knotty for the first time the other day. I had never been to a professional hair salon!! I was impressed the moment I walked in. I was welcomed by friendly staff and offered a drink throughout my visit and they also took my jacket for me!! Pam did a great job on my hair and offered great advice on how to take care of it afterwards. I felt so comfortable. I will definitely be back!! Thank you so much Pam and Salon Knotty!!

i attended a tigi make up class taught by salon knottys owner. she was rude and impatient, and told all us girls she has never seen so many people with bad eyebrows..she told me i should put ROGAINE on my eyebrows. pros: the team looks professional cons: not so sure they are friendly?

The salon isnt even worth 1 star. I booked an appointment and when I got there, they had decided that my hair was too long and needed more time although they didnt ask how long my hair was on the phone.
