Found Hornback Plumbing on the web, called with a request to replace a diverter. Service man came to my home, stayed for less than 10 minutes, only to tell me my diverter was bad (which i already knew). Told me to take a picture of the part, call Moen and to get the part myself and to notify them when the part was in and they would come back out to install it. I was charged $60 for "labor" which none was done as everything was already taken out. and $30 trip charge. I called to notify them the part was in and was notified it would be another $30 to come back out. Even though my service order states that no labor was performed and I quote "look at 3 handle Moen tub and shower faucet found diverter has gone bad allso hot side driping." I was still charged for unperformed labor and with that being said, they still said they would charge me another $30 again. Understand times are tough, but taking advantage of people is not the way to make up for them. Hopefully this company doesnt rely on referrals or positive feedback because they would not receive any from me. Hopefully my military families out there turn to others for assistance.

A company with great reviews became bad for me today! On 23 June 16, I had a plumber come to my home. He drained and unhooked my water heater and said my landlord said not to replace it even though its rusted on the bottom and leaking. So he reconnected the busted water heater, charged $122.00, and left. The information provided by the plumber was false. I contacted my landlord and was reassured he told them no such thing. Now I have to wait again for a new company to come and replace my water heater as my floor soaks with water. Im not sure whos lying to me, however it is enough that in the future when my home is built, I will not be calling. I dont know who too trust.

Google got it RIGHT. I searched "plumber Etown" and found Hornback Plumbing along a list of others. I tend to trust a business that puts their family name on it and was not disappointed. Bret was the tech who arrived EARLY and represented Hornback Plumbing well in all areas. I was pleased with my bill and thank you for your military discount! It is not always common for the service we try for a first time to exceed expectations but Hornback Plumbing did that for me. Thank you.

They came out when it was 11 degrees with the windchill much lower and completely re-plumbed our house. They gave us an estimate & stuck to it even though Im quite sure it took them longer than they expected in much harsher conditions. The 2 guys that came were friendly and professional. They answered our questions and gave us tips for preventing future problems. I will be using Hornbacks in the future!!!

Dishonest and deceitful....be afraid, be very afraid...$96 turned into $131.00 trip charge + drain machine charge. was told on estimate $96 for 1st hour, $66 an hour after... even though I explainef situation, no mention of extra charge for "snake work". Was told by Patricia, "well call before we send someone"...didnt happen. Could have had a customer for life, chose to be deceitful...be aware...

Very satisfied with Hornback Plumbing. Had an appointment and was called to let me know they would be late. I know this happens when they cant know how much will be involved with each job. But, Adam got here when she said he would. Very nice and friendly and efficient, plus left things cleaner than they were when he got here. Will definitely recommend Hornback to others. Thanks.

Second time Ive used Hornback Plumbing. The last tech was Richard and he was great. Todays techs (Adam and Ester) were great as well. I had them out while Waddells Plumbing and Septic were doing my sewage line work and septic system. The difference in professionalism from Waddells was astounding. I will use Hornback for every plumbing need in the future!

Installed a new water heater and it works but now the water pressure is low and my water takes at least 2 minutes to even get warm. When we called to ask them to come out and check they said the two are unrelated and there would be a service charge. Bad business
