Customer service was there, but the problem was in the handling of the customer as if he were an idiot (perhaps because Im young, but the money I planned to use to repair my computer isnt young). I dropped a laptop 2-in-1 off to get a repair on a bad charging port. After a couple days, got the call that the computer was "basically dead" and to come pick it up. The employee said that, "after opening and inspecting the device, theres no hope for it". So we picked it up. My dad, who knows nothing about computer repair, opens the tablet to find that it had never even been opened before. The factory seal was actually still in place!! After an hour of slowly checking it over, its fixed. It was a bad connection in the charging port. Simple. No big deal, likely just something an employee somewhere along the way didnt feel like messing with. Unfortunate, and hopefully the business gets said employee on the same page with their business plan. Overall, the company seems to take what they do seriously... this time they did not. If a project is not worth delving into, just say so. Be honest with your customers. We can handle it. If you have an employee whos saying that theyre doing something that they are not, get control of them or get them out of the process that directly affects your customers. Quite frankly, we left having been lied to. Very unfortunate.

I was referred by Apple when I first went to see them, as I have a Mac (MacBook Pro), and my operating system ended up needing to be totally reinstalled after a glitch in updating my software to the newest Maverick version. Apple gave me the bad news that I mightve lost all my data on the hard drive, but luckily they sent me over to Computers Plus Repairs! They were able to do a complete data recovery and everything including my important documents, being a college student, were all carried back over. The entire process of getting my laptop back and working only took me 3 days after I first saw Apple. The guys at Computers Plus Repair worked diligently and were helpful in making this as quick of a process as possible since being a college student having my laptop is vital! They explained every aspect clearly and answered all of my questions or concerns with care and consideration. I will definitely be back if I have any other problems!

I have gone to Computers Plus Repair for two separate situations regarding my Mac. I have had nothing but excellent service by these guys! Not only are they knowledgable and genuinely interested in their work, they are so friendly and generous. They helped me install a program, gave me some replacement screws for the bottom of my laptop, and diagnosed and fixed a small problem without even talking about charging me. Granted, I didnt need to buy any more parts, but they didnt even charge me for the time they spent with me. The previous time I used Computers Plus Repair, they did a successful data retrieval, ordered a part for me, and let me borrow an special device while I was waiting for my part to come in, all while being extremely reasonable price-wise. The Last but possibly best part about it, is that they allow drop-ins and you dont have to wait! I HIGHLY recommend going to Computers Plus Repair!

I bought a CPU fan from these guys back when they were located on Nicholasville road, with a two-year service plan. Fast forward to about a week ago, my CPU is overheating. So I reseat the fan, but I cant get the pins to engage at all into the motherboard. Figure my mounting system is broken, so I take it in to these guys. After about fifteen minutes, they were able to figure out what was wrong and repair it, as well as notice another serious error Id made when throwing my PC together -- and just because theyre good guys, they took the time to help me fix that, too. Because Id purchased the service plan on the fan, they didnt charge me (even though theyd gone well above and beyond the call of duty already). Seriously, these guys are good at what they do, and theyre extremely nice and helpful. Ive been letting all my friends and family know where to take their machines from now on.

Had an older Monster laptop (DV9225US) that I could no longer keep closed. The techs over there diagnosed my issue and gave me a quote. They offered several options for repair at differing price levels and the all important "heres what Id do" reference. After ordering the parts the monster roars again this time with the lid shut. :] Im now on my second tech call to them for a new issue: The girlfriends charger port has broken off inside the laptop. Bad design. While addressing the issue this store offered to not just fix the issue, but prevent it from happening again. Its the little things that make a first experience into a second. This business offers timely diagnosis, friendly customer service, and meets the need of a frustrating tech issue before it becomes a meltdown.

Fantastic service, turnaround time, and people! My MacBook Pro had a folder with a question mark pop-up. Blake was able to recover all of my data and repair the computer to get it working like new again! I brought in my wifes PC that had a massive virus infection, and they were able to remove all of the viruses without deleting any of her data! They also gave me tips on how to prevent future virus infections, and recommended the best kinds of anti-viruses out there. They installed some free anti-virus software on her computer until she decides which anti-virus to go with. I will do my business here from now on, and recommend everyone I know here.

My MacBook Pro had a whole glass of whiskey spilled on it. I went to both the apple store and geek squad, and was told they cannot help me. My third stop was Computers Plus Repair, one of the employees met with me after hours to take a look at my computer. He then gave me honest advice about the chances of its survival, got my important information off of the hard drive, and let me make the decision whether I wanted it fixed or not. Now it is three days later and I am writing this review on my computer that had whiskey spilled on it. Cannot beat the service given by Computers Plus Repair HIGHLY recommend.

BLAKE and the team at Computer Plus Repair were absolutely awesome. I use an Apple Mac Mini computer and my external HD that is partitioned specifically for a Mac failed and stopped working. He was able to remove the casing and recover 90% plus of my files on a 3TB HD. This was a life saver as I had a lot of files stored on this drive. This process took months to complete due to the large nature of the HD but was well worth the wait. I would recommend anyone who has HD failure or any time of computer no matter what the make, model or operating system visit them for any needs that you may have.

My computer was really getting slow and he very quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it, even though it was a rare problem. He recommended a nifty backup solution for my computer that safeguards my vital information without monthly fees. He was able to get my ancient DOS video game that I love running in an emulator in Windows! I love Computers Plus! and the proprietor is extra friendly and helpful. Its a great place to get your computer fixed. Hes not part of a big impersonal chain. His business is locally owned and operated. He will see to it that you are treated right.
