One star is giving this company too much credit! I was forced to use this company by my home warranty company. First of all, i had a different company come out to do maintenance on my ac. They told me i needed a whole new unit so i filed a claim with my warranty company but that company wasnt contracted with them so they referred me to Fayette plumbing heating and air. They came out and said all we needed waa freon. (The other company had said the coil was broken and was leaking freon). They put more Freon in it and sure enough, a week later our unit wasnt working again. We had to file yet another claim with our warranty company who said this would fall back into the first claim since they didnt fix it. So they came out on 7/11 and said the coil needed to be replaced, that they would submit the report to our warranty company and would call us back. I kept waiting and waiting. Thought its summer, Im sure theyre busy... gave them a few more days. After a week, i called my warranty company who said they hadnt even received the report yet! So her called the company and they said they would be there on Wednesday (2 days later). Then on Tuesday they called my husband asking to confirm that we accepted the service charges. He did and then they said they would be there on friday. We argued that they already told us they would be there wednesday but they didnt have the parts ordered yet so it would have to be Friday but they would call us at 730. This was confirmed by 2 different people that they would definitely be there early Friday morning. (Keep in mind this is during a week that has been in the 90s with a heat index of 103 and i have 2 small children in the house, one of which is only 6 months old). So fast forward to today... Friday...july 21st...10 days after they originally came out. 730 comes and goes without a call. I called them and no answer... So i left a message. They called back about 45 minutes later and said "your appointment is on monday." Livid doesnt even begin to cover my anger at this point. I said no my husband and i both confirmed with 2 people (her being one of them) that it was today. So my husband calls them. They tell him that since its so hot today and they werent able to get to is this morning that they just pushed our appointment to Monday. Nobody called us to tell us this, nobody called us to tell us they couldnt get to us today. They just said f*** it, well get to them on monday. I would rather pay $10k for 2 new units than have to deal with this company anymore. Theyre "customer service" is a joke. This company is a joke. Do yourself a favor... Save yourself a hassle and absolutely do NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

There is not much to say about a company who does not follow through on a comittment. If your company doesnt need the business then maybe customers need to start servicing their HVAC systems with someone who cares and is more reliable. My experience speaks for itself. I make an appointment on a Tuesday morning at 8:00am with you promising to be at my home on Thursday between 12:30-3:30pm to service my AC that quit running on Memorial Day. As a responsible adult I ask off for work relying on the comitment made to me on Thursday, June 2, 2016. No one shows and and no calls the day you are to arrive. I call to confirm our appointment at 1:30pm. The service operator confirms and lets me know I am the last call but someone WILL BE AT MY HOME TODAY. The time gets to be 4:30pm. My appointment time was from 12:30-3:30pm. I call at 4:30 and speak to the same service operator that scheduled my appointment on Tuesday and then confirmed there would be someone at my home by 3:30pm. She said the HVAC techs were already done for the day. That the techs come in at 4:00pm and put the tickets down that they do not get to during the day and no one would be out to my home today. She said my ticket had a note that I had taken off work, but her techs were done and gone for the day. Her recommendation for those of us that work and have a schedule is to call a larger HVAC service company that offers weekend and night hours because they do not offer that they are more limited with less techs. Thanks for the advice. I now understand your wisdom and see that your mission statement is "Our time is more valuable than yours. If you dont believe it we will soon show you."

Do not care for long time customers do not have time to take care of them and the decency to call and tell them that they would not come to take care of them after scheduling time. My family have been long time customer and will never do business with this company again. We moved and was told that they come to Richmond and as soon as I called they scheduled appt and I called day of appt to see if I was going to get call and was told they did not put me on schedule that they did not come to Richmond and that they could work 2 customer in to my one call so they did not want my business after years of service to them.

Can you give negative stars? This is the most unprofessional company I have dealt with in years. Never mind they dont make appointment times like the last review. They never call back to set a time! If my issue were not a home warranty claim I would have shot myself before using them. On the positive side, Ken Tyson Plumbing will be the contractor I call in the future!
