I could sit here and vent and say how awful my experience with South Broadway Collision has been, but I feel like that wont be too productive, so Ill just list some facts and you can form an opinion for yourself. I hydroplaned off the interstate off the road in a Mazda, the collision was with a slab or concrete on the side of the road. It hit my driver side back tire while spinning out. Joe Tipton is the person I dealt with throughout this experience. When I finally got my car to South Broadway Collision on June 17th, they told me itd be days before they could eveing look at the car. They had my car from June 17th to July 23 (37 days) and by that time insurance quit paying for rental vehicle to which I had to pay out of pocket and they refused to reimburse in any way. The reasons I was given for the delay was because, they did a brief visual inspection and order the parts off that after they started working on the car. They kept finding more damage after actually looking at it so then we had to wait as they ordered more parts, and then that happened again where they started working on the car and found more damage, and we had to wait an order more parts. Twice in that time they ordered the wrong parts and twice had to order parts again. They concluded they were replacing all four wheels tires and tire rod as well as the sensors that go with them. They also told me they were going to fix some damage paint. They told me several times that it was taking so long because they were going to do such a quality job with the highest satisfaction. When I got the car back you could tell that the wheels were shiny and new. The entire lower sides of my car looks like someone pelted them with rocks where I had spun through the gravel, and the paint was chipped and torn on both sides. After I asked them if this is something they did not fix because I was told they were fixing the paint, he told me that he thought it was pre existing damage because when he saw scratch on the top of my trunk that he thought the chip off paint on the sides were pre existing, I told him I didnt see how that was relevant and I wasnt asking him to fix the scratch on the trunk. When he started taking pictures for the insurance I asked them why he didnt take pictures before, he then told me that he never took pictures before because he never saw it... After just telling me that he saw it and thought it was previous damage. He also told me that passenger side damage wasnt something he considered because the collision took place on the driver side. I pointed out to him that previously when he told me the passenger side tires had to be replaced because they were so pelted with rocks and debris they werent safe, if the paint on the passenger side was immune to being pelted with those same rocks. After I left he told me he was going to immediately take care of this and contact insurance. After I called insurance they told me that after I visited him in person he had never contacted them, and they could not get in touch with him, the last time he contacted them when I talk to him on the phone the information he gave them was so vague that they couldnt do anything with it. He finally told them that he still didnt think the chipped paint on the lower sides of my car was caused by the accident, now Im waiting for for someone for my insurance to come look at my car. South Broadway Collision never followed up with me. Not only have I been dealing with my claims agent with insurance but Ive been talking with the people from my insurance office it was told me that they have returned none of their calls. I have State Farm. The staff was extremely unprofessional even to go as far as to vent their personal issues at me, the receptionist were untrained in any way shape or form and unable to answer any questions, all they were able to do was go get someone else for me. And they did not accept debit cards, credit cards, or any other form of payment than cash or local checks.

I have used South Broadway Collision Center in the past and had only great experiences with their quality of work and customer service. Yet, recently I took my Audi in to have a rear panel worked on due to a hit and run. Without question, I took it into South Broadway Collision Center immediately for repair. They were fantastic, gave me a quote and a quick appointment. During the time the car was being repaired, I got steady updates of the cars progress and they even repaired sooner than expected. Upon pickup everyone was very helpful, asked if I had any questions and if I was happy with the work, which I was. While driving home from South Broadway Collision I noticed severe scratches on my steering wheel. These scratches were not on the vehicle when I dropped them off, so I called and told my handler that I would be returning to show them the damage that was inflicted while the car was being repaired. Over that weekend, I noticed even more damage. There was overspray of paint on the windows and part of the black trim along where the repairs had been made. I brought the car back into South Broadway to discuss the damage with the Manager. They told me that they had photographs of the steering wheel prior to its repair and that the scratches were indeed on the wheel in the photograph. When they showed me the photograph you can not clearly see if the scratches are there or not. They went on to say that the only reason they photographed that portion of the vehicle is because the steering wheel already had scratches on it, but you can tell they just zoomed in on a photograph taken of the entire driver side interior. The Manager also went on to tell me that he was not a professional photographer and that scratches are very hard to photograph, I took pictures of the wheel very easily to show there are now scratches on it. I am very displeased with my service at South Broadway Collision. They have lost a customer for life, and I will never recommend this Business to anyone. They do fantastic work, but a mistake is a mistake. I would have hoped they would take responsibility, but they didnt. I hope this post helps anyone who has had issue with them before.

I was referred to them by James Motor co. Dropped vehicle off with instructions was told 2 weeks in shop. Ended up taking over a month and had to fight insurance co. to pay for extended rental car. They kept calling saying they found more things damaged 3 weeks after truck was there. I really question that as well charged me $600.00 for a speaker in the rear that they said was broken but drove my truck for 30 days after wreck and never had any sound issues. But what really bothered me was I had replaced my side mirror that cost $880.00 because I was able to drive my truck for 30 days before getting it into the shop. I faxed my paperwork in authorizing the repair and stated I DID NOT NEED MIRROR REPLACED. I had a brand new one and installed it already. After picking up truck I noticed they charged me $880.00 for a new mirror and time to install it. I called and asked Joe Tipton why did they replace a brand new mirror. And was told they have to replace everything on the list and they through my BRAND NEW mirror in the trash. REALLY ????? Who does that???? After going back and forth they said they would send me a check it came in the amount of $800.00 so where is the difference and the labor???? Never got it even after complaining to the GM he said he would look into it and call me back. Its now been 1 year and that return phone call never happened either have tried several times to reach the owner GOOD LUCK with that as well not going to happen. I even had bolts fall out of my new bumper they installed. I really question there work and integrity maybe that is why they only take CASH or company check and make you sign that is the only payment they will take. Leaves consumers no option to charge back for being over charged. I own a business here in the same city if a customer want to talk to me the owner I am always available because I care about my customers and my business. I CALL THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. This place really LACKS CUSTOMER SERVICE. SAD!!!!!!
