We moved from LaGrange, KY to Lexington, KY. Everyone who helped us with our move was highly professional and courteous. Greg and Dennis came all the way to LaGrange to do the survey, and they were very thorough in their survey and extremely polite to my wife. The packing crew, loading crew, and unloading crews were all highly respectful of our property, more so that I would have been myself. They treated our stuff as if it were their own. Again, highly professional. Tony and Keith led the loading and unloading crews, and I was very impressed with the level of pride they seemed to take in doing a good job. Very much appreciated. Throughout the process, Greg was highly accessible and was very prompt in returning my calls. They all went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant moving experience. This was one aspect of the move I never had to worry about. We have used cheaper "college" crews in the past, and believe me, you get what you pay for - packers that dont know how to fold and seal boxes, movers that are surly and obviously would rather be doing anything else than helping you, and finally NOT EVEN MOVING ALL YOUR STUFF and just saying, "sorry". From now on I will use the pros, and I would not hesitate to use Vincent Fister in the future. We priced several companies, and the differences in cost were minimal; however, you cant put a value on customer service and peace of mind, and Vincent Fister is the best at that, hands down.

We have used this company a few times! We were truly happy with them . They got the job done without any problems!! Their prices are good! They are professional!!! Now let me tell you what has happened to us when we tried of few other companies here in town,, O M G!! Nightmare on Elm Street".. Damaged a lot of our furniture, scratches, dents etc on New Items. One company came in a Truck too small ! and we had to rent another truck to finish the job, the movers left cigarette butts Everywhere!!! They took too long! And the owner accused us of adding furniture after our moving quote! Which on the contrary, we got rid of two rooms of furniture!!! We have moved a lot over the years with my husbands job. So we think of ourselves as professional movers! We always feed the crew and tip them!! Its a hard job, and when you want some company to care about your personal property These are the movers to call!!!

I used United Vanlines for my move from Santa Fe, New Mexico to Lexington, Kentucky. The move used Uniteds local moving service (Johnson Movers, who loaded my things onto their small truck and put it into storage to be picked up by their national driver to be moved across country in a large truck). Although the local Santa Fe crew only spent an hour or two emptying out my condo, practically every piece of furniture was damaged and some things went missing. The national driver and his wife were excellent and very careful, but Uniteds service is only as strong as its weakest link and their local company in Santa Fe, New Mexico (Johnson Moving & Storage) is a weak link. Just terrible! So, the service you get will depend on everyone involved in your move - not just the national crew. Be aware!

Our experience with United couldnt have been better. From the initial contact with Uniteds representative Pat Tolson her help with reviewing our move for my mom who lived at our former house for nearly sixty years. She was thorough and professional. Also due to some changes in our closing dates on our old house and new she helped us move the dates without any hassle. The day of the move, our driver Nor Arfaovi, couldnt have been nicer and he and his great crew Michael, Aruno, Norman and James did a fantastic job. They took great care in wrapping and packing all of our belongings and flat hustled! Plus at the new house site as well, Nor and his crew was excellent! Overall, great experience given how moving can be a nerve wrecking ordeal. They were great, thanks.

The Vincent Fister moving experience was very professional, smooth, efficient and cost effective! I would highly recommend this to everyone considering a move. We had to make several stops to pick up furniture and appliances from various properties and drop off furniture at various properties, they were great and did not charge by the hour as other companies do. The movers were super strong as we had some HEAVY stuff. They did a great job and I will use them again!

My wife used this company when she moved and I was shocked at the level of service. They wrapped everything extremely well. Once of the employees found $80 under the couch when no one was around, and came directly to us to give me the money. They were timely and careful. This will definitely be the company we use the next time we move.

Worst movers I have encountered across the board. And Im still in the claims process in Aug. 2014, two months after formally filing it for a move in Jan. 2014. Horrid company that does not care about its work, its reputation, or its customers. Do not use unless moving is not stressful enough for you in the first place.
