Carlon Roofing & Sheet Metal did an excellent job for us at two different homes! After using another roofing company that worked with our contractor during a home renovation project, we had a continual roof leak that resulted in water running down our family room wall. The roofing company who installed the roof came out many times and assured us every time that it was repaired. Those repairs were very short lived and most frustrating. It wasnt until Jack Carlon came to our house and stood on top of our roof with a water hose to determine exactly what the problem was. With that, it was a simple fix and we never had another problem. Three years later we bought another home that needed major renovations including an entire roof. There was no question in our mind who were we going to use and as such insisted that our contractor only use Carlon Roofing and Sheet Metal. The price, the quality of work and the roofing crew were top notch. They worked efficiently and cleaned up everything, which doesnt always happen with contractors. Jack again was very helpful and knowledgeable and helped us achieve the look and quality product that we wanted within our budget. We have recommended Carlon Roofing many times since then and will continue to do so for anyone needing a new roof, roofing repairs, gutters, copper roofing, etc.. It was a terrific experience!

We recently bought our home, and the home inspector completely missed that the roof was in utter disrepair. We literally had a leak not 8 hours after closing. We took several bids for a new roof from different roofing companies. After speaking with Jack, the owner I was sold on Carlon. He is the most up front and honest guy I talked to out of all of them. He gave me a fair price on our roof with an honest opinion of what needed to be done. When youre paying for it out of your own pocket, youre a little more cautious than when the insurance company is paying for it. Their installers showed up at 10 to 7am and worked until nearly 10pm the first day then came back at 7am the next day and worked until it was done. Im sure the workers were immigrant, but they worked their rears off. Our roof is very steep, and they did a wonderful job. No more leak! Jack has also been quite helpful with our stone chimney and is custom fabricating a metal cap for it. We couldnt be more pleased with this company. If anything comes up, I know I can reach Jack right here in Louisville.

I cannot recommend Carlon Roofing highly enough. My wife and I needed a new roof and wanted a company that we could trust, having encountered problems and shenanigans in the past from a fly-by-night roofing company on our previous home. Mr. Carlon came to our home, he gave us a very specific estimate, his team was efficient and professional, they left our property cleaner than they found it, and the entire experience was all we could have hoped for. I was also impressed by how quickly they started the job after we contacted them. When it comes to a roof, a so-called "bargain" price is not the most important thing to me. I want a roof that doesnt leak. I want to know my roof was installed by men who know what theyre doing. I want materials that will stand up to the elements. I want to know that my children wont be stepping on nails when they play in my yard. When you consider these things, Carlon Roofing offers a price you wont find anywhere else for the quality job they do. If you need a roof, you need to call Jack Carlon, period.

I am very pleased with Carlon Roofing. My elderly mom had several areas in her ceiling that were showing water stain/leaking whenever it rained. She was concerned she needed a new roof. We talked to a friend who recommended we call Carlon - he is an insurance adjuster & had used their company a few months ago. They came out & determined she did not need an entire roof, just a few repairs that included replacing a valley in the roof slope, and in another area replacing a cracked boot, using a better made lead boot. The repairs were finished in a timely manner, totally to our satisfaction and for a fair price.My mom was very pleased with the gentleman who did the repairs - she said he was very polite and explained everything so she could understand it. The repairs have taken care of her problems - no more leaks!! I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for quality work at a fair price.

Well, This was my experience with Carlon roofing: I purcashed an older home that needed a ton or work, including a new roof. The existing roof was in bad shape and needed to be replaced. We also had a merge the existing roof to the new roof. Kind of tricky along with being a big job. Carlon roofing had to coordinate with my contractor and hit a deadline!. Let me say tihs first when you deal with Carlon roofing you deal directly with owner Jack. So every time I called or my contractor called Jack he answered the call. Carlon roofing hit the ball out of the park. The roof went up when we needed it and we were able to keep the project on time, on schedule, on budget!. I would give the experience from the first call to the final bill a 5 star. We have since used Carlon roofing for my inlaws house and an investment property. My roof was damaged in a storm when an EF0 tornado passed within a mile of our house. We needed to have the leak repaired, since more heavy rain was on the way in a couple of days. Carlon Roofing was quick to come out, and see what needed to be done. The owner personally came out to inspect our roof the same day, and he quickly dispatched one of his workers, and our roof was repaired that afternoon. We have had a leak in this area for several years, and no the roofing company we had out for repairs have fixed it. It was leaking around an attic vent, so they caulked the vent, and replaced the shingles, and we have not had a leak since. I will need a new roof in several years, and I definitely will call on Carlon to replace our roof. Their customer service was outstanding from quickly getting the leak fixed, to follow up customer service to make sure everything was done to our repair.

Roofing is one of the hardest areas of home ownership- it is critical to your homes safety and value and yet most homeowners rarely if ever get up on their roofs to see them nor do they know really what to look for in a job well done. Carlon Roofing did an excellent job for me; not only was I addressed politely throughout the job but each step was communicated and explained to me in terms I could understand. My requests- such as taking pictures of and documenting the number of nail pops they were repairing- to helping me understand roofing terms, were fulfilled completely. Having run into horrible issues with another roofer, Carlon Roofing met every one of my expectations and as a result, I feel really good about the roof on my home. If you need a repair or a new roof, do yourself a favor and call them. The excellent workmanship and customer service will not disappoint you!
