We hired Elbert for a very simple siding issue (a small part of the roof had to be changed because of leaking) and even though such a small job that took about an hour costs $1000 with Elbert, we were happy to pay for a big company (assuming they were professional). However, the contractor came to our house on the assigned day and said he started working between the backyard and the second floor where he used the rooms window to get to the roof. He opened the window and took off the sieve (without letting us know) then he finished his work and LEFT!). The next day when my husband was in the backyard he saw our two years olds half body hanging from the rooms window that as far as we know has a sieve and is always closed!! Yes, we literally ran to catch him before he falls off from a 2 -floors height! And discovered what? The window sieve was dumbed on the backyard grass!! Elberts contractor did not even have the decency to put the sieve back to its place! And we wouldve never known that he even took it off since its very light and you can barely tell its there when the window is closed. I called Elberts office that day and i told the story to a lady who answered the phone, I was very frustrated and crying since we were losing our son because of their reckless worker and their mere irresponsibility. The lady promised that they will investigate into the situation and i gave her all the information necessary. Two days later I got a voicemail from someone at Elberts office saying that she doesnt really understand what i was talking about. Seriously?? I did not and will not contact them again, the only reason i am writing this review now is to make sure that nobody will go through what happened with me and my family. Every Time I remember I was going to lose my baby, I tell myself I dont want this to happen to anyone else. DO NOT HIRE ELBERT they are untrustworthy around your house

Complete frauds!! Called Elbert roofing and had an inspector come to my house and look at my roof for moderate wind damage to the shingles. The inspector looked and said we should replace the whole roof because it a discontinued shingle and it wont match properly. He took a sample and some pictures. After a week i had to follow up instead of being contacted. I never received a call from the follow up, followed up 2 days later, then 24 hours later finally got an email it stated the roof likely can be patched and the shingles are discontinued so it wont match. and gave me an estimate of about $1200. I followed up immediately asking if that included supplies and some follow up questions about the sample he took. I could never get a response again. no replies. Sure seems like once they figured out they couldnt make big money by being deceitful and pushing to replace a whole roof they didnt want to waste their time. I figured out their trick because I ended up calling another company and within minuets of showing up they had samples to compare, they stated that it was not a discontinued owens corning shingle. they had no issue replacing the roof sections that were needed.

Elbert put on our new roof a couple weeks ago and overall we are very happy with it. The project manager was on site and able to answer all of our questions. When the job was done we did a walk around with him and I noticed a piece of metal on the outside edge of the roof that was wrinkled. He talked to the workers and they were able to come replace it within a couple days (looks great now). After the first rain we noticed a few nails on the ground, but nothing major and it was expected that a few nails might get lost along the way considering how many nails are used to put a new roof on. My wife and I are very happy with the build quality of the roof and would definitely recommend Elbert to anyone looking for a new roof. They werent the cheapest contractor we talked to, but they were very competitively priced for their quality. They also were able to give us many different pricing options based on what materials we wanted to use which was a huge plus.

They have a guy working for them that is a complete waste of space on our earth. Found out this guy, by the name of Matthew Jarvis, who is a married man, has been going to a restaurant an trying to take out a waitress who by the way is spoken for. I wasnt going to say anything if he would have just quit but apparently the guy has lack of morals an common sense. He wont respond to me to talk about it like a man, and is willing to let his wife suffer with this problem. I would have to say that actions of this man are reflecting badly for this company. He will not take responsibility for his actions an is willing to hurt those around him for his own benefit!

I called Elbert Construction after I realized that my insurance deductible was about the same as the cost of replacing my damaged gutters. After the initial call to Elbert Construction I had my gutters installed about two weeks later(weather being the limited factor). They were installed in one day and the only way I knew they had been there was the new gutters. They left no trash/materials behind; I couldnt even find a leftover screw or nail. The gutters look great and their workmanship was spot on! I would recommend to anyone!

We had a tree fall on our house after a storm. We called Elbert Construction and they came, removed the tree, and repaired the holes within an hour of our call. We were very thankful as the rain came soon after the holes were patched. We truly appreciated the professional service and quick response. We look forward to working with Elbert Construction again in the future!

I believed this co did well done for the roofing, but doesnt know how to complete entire project as quoted. I called them several times for last couple of months to finish the project and overtime they said they would do it, but never get it done. Very disappointed. They need to learn how to satisfy customer and, understand how to sustain their business locally.

Elberts did an extraordinary job in reroofing our house. Don Harr, sales person, was very thorough in explaining the process and what to expect. Expectations were fully met. Construction crew was efficient, accommodating, and thorough. The new roof looks great. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Wow. Elbert Roofing was there when they said they would be, did exactly what they said they would do, CLEANED UP THEIR MESS, and were right on their cost estimate. NO surprises, great experience. --- I wish all contractors were half this good. Best experience with any contracting I have ever had.

Doing a major home remodel and Elbert has been on top of everything! Replaced our roof, siding, gutters, painting & windows (entire exterior). Weve worked with a lot of contractors and can honestly say Elbert has been fabulous to work with!! Local company and would HIGHLY recommend!

Elbert Roofing was great to work with. The process of selecting shingles, scheduling work, and completing the job was smooth. They were onsite at 7:30 AM and gone by 5 PM. Excellent job!! Our roof looks amazing.
