THIEVES! Horrible movers! I caught these guys stealing a window air-conditioning unit from the storage unit next to mine! I called the storage unit to verify that they were missing a unit, to which they did verify theirs was missing. I caught them taking the unit off their moving truck and putting it in their private vehicle. In addition, they scratched, gouged, and/or dented all of my wood furniture. My new mirrors I recently bought for my master bedroom are missing. Several times I asked these guys to please use their moving blankets when moving my furniture. They would give me a face that indicated that I was inconveniencing them. It was a very hot day, and these guys did not come prepared. They had no drinking water with them. I didnt have any water to give them since I had no refrigerator set up yet and my glass-ware was not unboxed yet. I did have some coconut water on hand which I gave to them. Their manager Brandon was no better than they were. One of the guys had a half smoked cigarette in his mouth inside my new home! I kept waiting for the ash to fall off his cigarette while he was moving my couch; and the put a hole in my couch! They left a wheel to my coffee table sitting in the hall way of the storage unit. Brandon told me he would personally go back and get it for me that day. He never returned. The next day, at 11:30 am I called Brandon. He told me he wasnt going to be able to get it to me that day either. I called his boss, and magically Brandon showed up! UNBELIEVABLE!!! You cant make this stuff up!

I paid over $1,000 for them to move me with one truck In Baton Rouge they did not fill up the truck all the way up to the top and they did not fill it all the way to the back.. I told them to put my most biggest things first on there and leave the boxes if they cannot fit boxes because I dont have a truck and I cannot haul the big stuff, guess what they did? They put the boxes on first and then I had to go get 2 more trucks after they left! They was taking smoke breaks on my time throwing cigarette butts in my yard very unprofessional! I will never hire them again ever and I do have to move as soon as I buy a home within the next couple years but I will search and do my reviews on every company before ever using a moving company again!! They didnt even discount me when I told the boss about the things that they were doing, they went to my house after I was gone because they forgot a tool bag and let my dog out and my dog was running the streets and could have got killed nothing was done about that either!! This was the first time that I moved without being a PCS military move! I never had problems in 24 years with Military Movers the first person I hire not military it was the worst experience Ive ever had!! I do not recommend this company at all if I could give Zero stars I would!!!!

The team who worked with us were very nice and professional; however they did not seem to know how to pack a home. The van was too small (and a rented Penske truck at that!). They ran out of materials. The packers did not seem to know how to professionally pack our items. They bundled our custom framed items 4-5 in a moving blanket with nothing between them, so of course items were damaged and glass was broken. They did not label ANY of the boxes they packed, so it has been a guessing game trying to get our new home in order. I selected them as our provider becuase I was impressed with the "family owned and operated" for so many years and the representative who I spoke with prior to the move made it sound like they would handle everything and it would be so easy. I was so disappointed. Also, make sure you understand the insurance policy before you book. The insurance for damaged items is only $.60/pound. So if your $200, 1 pound vase is damaged, you will get 60 cents and I was told that the claims process is very arduous. The company did discount my final fee by $75, but that will not touch the actual replacement cost of the items they damaged.

Folks beware of “All My Sons” moving company. Pay very close attention when they talk about their fees. When I spoke with Steve in Baton Rouge, he indicated that their fees are $119 an hour to pack and unload your belongings. Additionally there is a $119 an hour for round trip travel. Here is the kicker folks. What they actually charge you is $119 an hour for the employees (loading, travel, unloading), plus $119 an hour for the round trip travel time for the truck, and if that wasn’t enough they tack on an additional 10% fuel surcharge. So basically folks you’re double charged during the travel time and its amazing $119 an hour doesn’t cover the fuel. I’m still not sure how they arrived at the materials charge of $53. They used less than 1 roll of tape and plastic wrapped one piece of furniture. On top of it all they damaged some of my furniture with tie straps on the truck and dropped another piece in the driveway. I have yet to hear from their claims department, pathetic at best.

We moved from SWFL to Baton Rouge. I called Penske on Monday afternoon at 3:30 to get a mover referral to help with unloading and they recommended this company. I called them and set up to have two guys come out the next day. I was told they had a job in the morning but would be by "in the afternoon" and would call before they showed up. They called shortly before 11 am, arrived at 11:30 and had the entire 26 foot truck (packed top to bottom and front to back) unloaded in just 2 hours! We didnt have them assemble anything and most stuff was just dumped in the garage but thats exactly what we asked them to do. Both of the guys (Kevin and Jordan) were friendly, personable and they worked their butts off. The service from the office staff was great too - good communication, checking on us to see how things were going, etc. I highly recommend this company for your moving needs.

Both the salesman and sales manager I spoke with severely low-balled the amount of hours my move would take, even after I told them how long my last move took and how frustrated I was with being low balled on my last move (different company). I was assured that although they charged a higher rate, All My Sons would be much faster and more professional. Well it took 7 hours (they told me 3-4 max), plus an added hour for travel (their office is a couple of miles from my house), $171 for gas (again, they traveled a few miles from the storage unit to my new house), and $64 for materials. Plus they damaged some of the paint on my banister and walls, and broke several dishes and serving pieces in the move, although we wrapped everything very carefully. If youre in baton rouge and want to move, just go with someone cheaper, these guys are not worth the extra money.
