My Check Engine light was on so I took my car to Dr. Muffler to do the diagnostic check. Here is what they told me I needed to do: Change my battery, change my oil, replace the fuel pump/filter, possibly the transmission and after all of that was completed and the Check Engine light is still on, then they would check the CAM Sensor and change it. I was quoted a price of at least 500.00 for just the fuel pump/labor. I asked for a price quote on the CAM sensor and the receptionist act as thought she couldnt find it on the computer but she was able to tell me it was at least 65 - 89. Thankfully my usual mechanic was now available so I took my car to him at guess what - all I needed was a 42.00 CAM sensor from OReileys and my mechanic charged me 35. for his labor. My car has been running just fine since then. My advice is to take your car to Dr. Muffler ONLY if you know exactly what needs repairing and you buy your own parts. Otherwise...DONT DO IT. I have no doubt Dr. Muffler can do good work but in my opinion you will definately be paying for services that are not needed and double for parts.

this is a scam, these people are terrible. they have no idea on what there doing perio. I highly not recommend these people. I rather let my car die then even have my car touched by them. want ur money to go quick with no work ? Will come to this place cause thats what it is. Got two cars worked on here and cant fix nothing . Like, Im sick to my stomach on how they take advantage on people like I pray this business goes out like I wish no bad on people but like damn money isnt that important to the point u jack peopl like ugh I refuse to even ride around there street . I highly recommend not for anybody to go there . I repeat. I WISH THERE WAS A ZERO STAR CAUSE I WOULD GIVE THEM . dont trust me ? I dare yall anybody to have them work done there. and find out ur self !

I have taken several of my friends car here, they do a good job but instead of changing for small part, they lie and say otherwise and charge for something similar but for a bigger price. I finally catch them with one of my friends cars. They do change transmissions but they dont know alot. It turns out it was a clutch problem on the car but they said it was the "transmission" and they charged around $1,500 for the tranny, the clutch problem is around 300 dollars to fix, so they just charged him 1,500 for something that cost 300. I dont know how many people they have scammed. Beware, Google maps is your friend.

Dr Muffler Auto Care definitely scams people. When I left my car there the driver side window was working thats not what I went to them for. I distinctly remember rolling my window up when I arrived at their shop. I left my car there for a catalytic converter replacement. Long story short, I wouldnt suggest risking you vehicle at this shop unless you want to replace parts that were fine in the first place.

After having some mufflers poorly installed at another muffler shop, i brought my car here to have it repaired. They did good work for a fair price. They were more than the other shop, but you get what you pay for.
