This post office barely functions. Packages and important mail is often delivered to the wrong address or not at all. It takes an additional two or more days for mail to transit between DeRidder and addresses outside southwest Louisiana. I have been to this post office for simple things, and been informed that they are not accepting debit or credit cards for payment, only cash or check. In 2017. Seriously. This has happened. The excuse is weather. This office is a shining example of why the USPS cannot compete with other similar services that are not propped up by taxpayer money.

One of THE worst offices I have had the experience of dealing with. The staff is not helpful at all, and due to their carelessness I have had several packages either lost or late simply because they arent doing their job.
