I was expecting a package to be delivered to my P.O. Box in Prairieville. Well, they had never received it and my package was delivered to the Metarie post office instead. I called Metarie P.O., was put on hold and no one ever returned to the phone. I called Prairieville and to my satisfaction they handled the situation quickly and courteously. The Prairieville P.O. contacted Metarie P.O. and had them to resend my package to its proper location. This happened on 6/27/17 around 11:30 a.m. I didnt get the name of the clerk who helped me (I should have), but I want her to know that she was very helpful and I appreciate her awesome display of great customer service! Please, keep it up! We need more persons like yourself who work with the public!

Snotty and mail carrier terrible. Will not deliver my packages puts pink not in box that we need to come to post office to sign for packages. One item is a bottle of shampoo. If i need to order anything and its mail delivery i need to have it sent to someone elses home. This item, i was told was coming FedEx. I would not have purchased had i known the post office was involved. I cancelled order left note in box to return to sender. I cant get to post office. Pink slip did not say signature at post office required. We have been having issues with this carrier,so i guess this is her way of pay back. I really feel im being descrimiated against. My neighbors arent having issues.

I have always had a good experience with this post office. Except once. Tried to mail something certified, they could not find the address, but made me pay for it and mailed it anyway. I ended up receiving the item back, return to sender, no such address found. She should have never allowed me to mail it if no such address existed. Hmmmm I am headed back there now to mail it again with the correct address. Had to go anyway so no gas loss. This will not make me stop going to this post office. I will still continue to use it. Postal workers are very friendly!!

Typical government funded and run business. No accountability or communication when there is a problem. They delivered my package to the wrong address 30 days ago and I still have no resolution. In the 30 days since the package has been lost there have already been TWO management changes and still no resolution. An employee there threatened to call the cops on me because I wouldnt get out of line until I could see a manager there. Yes, threatened me with calling the police for their incompetence. Wish I could give this place ZERO stars.

Really getting tired of the postal carrier being to lazy to deliver packages to our house and claiming no one was home. My wife works from home and is always home during their delivery times. We never have this problem with UPS and FedEx.

I drive 7 miles out of my way to go to this post office branch, esp to avoid other Baton Rouge post offices. The workers are pleasant, efficient, capable - I almost love going here. Good job guys!

Called to make sure the post office was open the day after thanksgiving because I didnt want to go there and have it been closed... The guy on the phone was very rude!!!! And hung up on me...
