I have been doing business with Midas in Bangor for several years. They have always been professional, polite, efficient and most importantly HONEST. As a single female I have been hoodwinked more than once by unscrupulous auto repair shops. This location has had multiple opportunities to take advantage of my limited car knowledge and they never did. Many people are under the mistaken impression Midas only does mufflers. I have had multiple repairs done there including belt replacement, diagnostics, snow tires put on, brakes replaced and so on. I cannot sing their praises enough and I tell people about them all the time. Thanks Eric, Nate and all the hard working mechanics!

I went in for a brake job, there was a noise coming from the rotors. I came to Midas for a second opinion (the first opinion said new pads and rotors all around). The boys at Midas showed me how much pad was left, plenty, and instead just cleaned the tracks the brake pads travel in. The noise is gone and the brakes feel great! They talked me out of spending several hundred dollars more. I will definitely return when the pads and/or rotors actually need to be replaced.

Charged $170 just in labor for 45 minutes, put charges on the bill for work not performed. Would not recommend, wont go back, pursuing better business bureau or alternatives to report this place. I will say the techs seemed knowledgable.

We have been bringing our vehicles to Midas in Bangor for years and always get excellent service. We use Midas for everything, including repairs, oils changes, and yearly inspections. We wouldnt go anywhere else.
